Chad seems to have grasp the change from western societies to SE Asia. Yes people are people but other cultures, environments, politics, food, infrastructure, education, history, resources and what I find most damaging is politics. Speaking from a western man's perspective - to be respected, loved, needed / appreciated, to lead, protect, provide security financially and emotionally, to be ethical, moral and possibly religious are how western men encapsulate what it is to be a man. With that comes pressure, responsibilities and at times burdens = stress, worry, competition, ego, mental/emotional issues which causes the foregoing of PEACE. As stated by another commentor - the USA has lost what's most valued. I left with NO regrets and hopefully will never go back.

I remember back when my husband was courting me and I mentioned my English and he said that it was fine, that I'm smarter than him as he only speaks English while I speak at least Tagalog, Visayan and English. That comment puts me at ease from then on. I enjoy this content so much. We're 7 months away from moving back to retire in the Philippines and can't wait. Thanks Paul.

Political, racial and sexual division were my deciding factors in deciding to retire in the Philippines. My late Wife was a Filipina, and was the best 13 years of my life. After losing her, American women didn’t measure up, and that’s why I began looking at finding a Filipina to live out my life with. Retirement would be financially difficult in the U.S., and now that I’ve found the right Filipina, living in the Philippines with emotional and financial stability is a no-brainer for me.

It's interesting listening to you both talking about here in the Philippines versus back in the USA. After much thought I think I might know the answer: In the Philippines people here are naturally friendly and share whatever they have around friends. Nobody feels like a stranger when invited into a Filipino home. You become part of the extended family of friends. Money and stress are always there but not openly discussed. Traditional roles are still the normal rules and ways of life. I am surrounded by much laughter and smiles. Filipina work hard in maintaining family connections from parents and her new family, husband and children. Having a good education is the goal for all Filipino children. Being closely aligned with Western Culture and having a better life for family & children. Dating is more traditional and on first dates it's common for a Filipina to bring a friend along. Children are very respectful of their elders. Dating is like 1950's style. No pressure, making friends first with connections of more friends along the way. This is polar opposite of life in the USA. Life is stressful in everyday activities. Politics & religion are in your face at every turn. Women are independent and career first, family second, husband third or fourth on the list Marriage is survival and roles of men & women are blurred. Their is always more toys, things or gadgets to buy. You seldom talk to your neighbor or nay not know who they are. Someone knocking on your door is met with alarm and distrust. Children are taught Safe Words.. stranger is danger. Now which lifestyle do you prefer?

If you are a believer, then you must never forget that we are on Satan's turf and destined to suffer and be destroyed. I've come to wonder why mankind we're created in the first place? Did God feel the need to be worshiped, was he lonesome, why are you challenged to praise him and give your soul and being to him or be doomed to HELL? HOW IS THAT LOVE? I'm asking a legitimate question...

Women are the backbone of a society. If the majority of women act like they do in the Philippines, then the society will follow. If they are broken, lack traditional values are materialistic and independent like in the Western English speaking countries, the culture is broken and getting worse with each generation.

My son was lucky, he just turned 32 this month and he's been living with his Indonesian GF the past 4 years in southern California. She's a beautiful women like Filipina's with that dark skin tone. She has a very traditional mindset and is well educated with her master's degree like my son. Every 6 months they fly to Jakarta to stay with her family for a month, in fact they are leaving next week. They will build a life together here in California and spend 2 months a year in Indonesia with her family. They both make 6 figure incomes and plan to retire in 20 years in Indonesia.

I'm an older Millenial Woman and I 100% agree with you guys. The First wave feminism was really helpful, the 2nd and 3rd did nothing but destroy the traditional family values. Not only that but many Women have become completely inappropriate appearance wise. They wear basically nothing at the gym. I am not uptight but I find this shocking. Looking forward to come to the Philipines in a few days! Thanks for a great channel!

It's great to have feedback from a lady's perspective. I've noticed the gym attire issue as well. They're trying to attract that 01% handsome wealthy single guy and hope that he treats them better than he likely will. The rest of the mere mortal guys who glanced her way, will probably end up on a video with various harsh comments from the girl.

Haha, yeah...I've long thought one of the benefits of moving abroad, at least in terms of dating is the average woman here weighs close to 200lbs where as you go to Asia the average woman weighs more like 110. Suddenly you are in a market where being a healthy body weight doesn't make them hot among their peers, it makes them average among their peers. If you are just an average guy looking for an average woman why not go look where average is simply better?

I am gonna spend a month in The Philippines in March 2024 for the first time for a vacation / scouting trip. And I am hoping to move to Cebu City in 2025 .. If I can find a place / condo with good enough home internet to allow me to work remotely. If it all works out, I think I'll have it made. I am currently 43 years old from deep South Texas.

Chad provided direct and salient points Paul of why so many men in the West are looking elsewhere for relationships. Modern feminism in the West is the great tragedy of our time. It has managed to make almost everything toxic including most of Western women. Best wishes for Chad.

NEVER Sell Your REAL ESTATE! (like I did) Thats so smart. Keep it as part of your comfortable ESCAPE PLAN. Remember, the "Paradise Sydrome" of life in the PH can wear off real fast, and over 50% of expats end up returning "home" within five years (like I did). Nowadays, what with rents and home prices you could easily find yourself not only alone again, (like me), but also "homeless" and living in an RV being a snowbird traveler. Luckily I found a town where prices were still semi-acceptable for houses. Rent out your house don't sell it. Remember that nothing lasts forever. Statistically you will split up with "her" and she could easily be running the "long con" on you without you having a clue (like my Filipina was). Have a "bomb-proof" Pre-Nup but also remember that a smart girl can figure out ways around even that with the right lawyer. Things can slide into the crapper there real fast. Cover your butt.

just leave most of your assets back in the states marry her in her country keep your house there ,things can go south real quickly in a marriage always have an exit plan that you can execute on a moments notice. I’ve been married 7 years to my Filipina have a small house here . no reason to move her back to the states I split my time between here and there it’s difficult for me to cope with the humidity so I avoid the hot season here .

It’s much harder for her to go after your assets if you don’t make the mistake of bringing her back and marrying her in your country. if you flee from her and go back home she can still get a lawyer to go after your assets. but less likely to go thru the hassle or be able to afford hiring one.

Nowadays most women are running the “long con” on men no matter where they’re from 🤣🤣🤣 the difference in the Phil’s is if you get a divorce or separated you just walk away give her the 40,000 dollar house. you knew beforehand that it was hers from the start 😊 much better than losing everything in the states to a western woman and ending up with only a jock strap and a pair of socks.

I know a dozen men in Canada who met and married Filipinas who came over as care-givers and nurses. A couple has been happily married for over 30 years, while several couples have been married for 2 to 20 years.. A couple of them have divorced. Several of the Filipina ladies were divorced from their husbands who were not faithful during their many years of living in different countries. I guess who we meet and who we marry are the "luck of the draw", "written in the stars" or ordained by The Big Chief in the Sky, whose Name many of us exalt. I wish Chad the very best: may he meet the lady of his dreams and may they live happily ever after, and during, marriage. Note: from my personal experience and observations, no matter who we marry or where we live, there will always be challenges, and even trials and testings after the honeymoon.

The dating in the US is not localized to the US. China is going thru the exact same dating issue. There are 30-35 million more males than females in the dating age range so Chinese women, and their parents, could be picky in husbands. That triggered hypergamy until Chinese women demand the man already own a house and buy and a $30k USD dowry to her parents. And now Chinese women can't "find" a husband. Where are all the "good" men. Sound familiar to American men? Hypergamy is instinctual in human females and good for our species. But when limits go away it can kick into creating huge problems. In the US women can have high paying careers so they don't have the "I need a man to eat" fear anymore. So they became more picky. That lead to 80% of women limited to just 20% of men and women saying "where are all the good men?" and dating men who have several women on the hook and no need to marry. So US women think dating is horrible and it is because of who they're picking.

Great conversation. Men and women not needing each other is a crisis without solutions. If she cannot be a receiver then you (a giver) are a zero. It only works if it’s easy and even that risks boredom as your presence will hold her back from self actualization that she’ll call growth. Prenup the inevitable death spiral so you can walk away clean is the stop gap for men. It’s comfortable, I suppose, but “don’t you want challenge and to live?” I feel my conscience ask again and again.

Moving to the Philippines just to hunt for a wife seems like a waste of time to me, time I can not replace. I am happy with my living arrangements here among the farmers and I realize that most of the USA is becoming a toilet, but perhaps I live in the last decent place in America. Whether it be medical assistance, travel, entertainment, internet and power, or simply shopping for food, it would seem that I am in much better shape than most in the Philippines, so by doing my wife hunting via the internet I am able to reduce the legwork others spend so much time on there. If I manage to reconnect with my MIA pinay I will visit Cebu as a tourist, but other than marrying her I see no reason to remain and live there. Maybe after I tour the areas in the U.S. with my future wife I've yet to visit I might consider the big move, but not before. Great information, Paul! Thank you for sharing your efforts.

39, single, living in the states here. My mind is in the same place as Chad's in a lot of ways. Dating and relationships here is just a mess. Too many women want to play the field through their teens, 20s, and into their 30s that by the time they're ready to settle down, who wants them? like you guys talked about, modern women rules when it suits them, traditional women rules when it suits them, so you basically agree to a bad deal by having them in your life. Its ok when you are always paying for date night, but man, ask her for a home cooked meal and a lot of them these days think that is the patriarchy oppressing them when you demand(you know, by asking) them to cook dinner. I thought I'd marry someone in their early 20s when I was in my early to mid 20s and build a life together...not have to settle for a fat single mom in her mid 30s with a disgusting body count and mountains of debt and mental baggage that thinks all men are pigs because she chose to sleep around for the last 20 years of her life while guys like me were "too nice" or "too boring." Meanwhile I could just hop on over to PH and finding a partner 15 or so years younger isn't a big deal, and it will be someone who actually prioritizes family, not someone who prioritizes short term fun just to wonder why their life is a mess when they're my age. At this point, I'm making six figures, debt free, net worth north of a million, in good shape and still hit the gym regularly, and just can't wait to get out. If I was alive during my grandparents generation, I'd have been considered a catch, these days, they just want me for the cleanup guy when they're pushing 40. No thanks. Again, same boat as Chad here where I just need the finances to line up a bit better. Working remote isn't really an option in my line of work and I don't want to walk away from my career too early. I think a few more years to pad the numbers and get a few more paid into the SS formula is a prudent decision to make sure I'll be retired in comfort and not pinching pennies down the road. Its just sad when the American dream for more and more men isn't a wife, a house with a white picket fence, 2.5 kids, and a dog...but rather just early retirement and rolling the dice somewhere else because the game is rigged against you here. All I know is I got about 3 more years of grinding, I'm selling my place here, and with my assets and dividend income I'll be enjoying a comfortable life as a 0.1%er in PH. My life is going to look so much different from a lot of my friends who married modern day feminists in their 30s, popped a kid or two out, divorced 5-10 years down the road, and are currently serving court ordered sentences of divorce induced poverty until they're in their 50s. They're paying quite the price for a piece of tail 20+ guys got to sample for free before them.

I just turned 40 and it's really not as bad as you made it out to be. You can blame technology as finding a partner is easy now so much for younger people can find a partner within a swipe easily on an app and get replaced just as fast. By the way the Philippines it's also very similar too especially in Manila and Cebu so coming here it's not really much different in that approach. Nothing is rigged against you here you just need to take the initiative. If you're attracted to Filipinas there are many of them in the States and Canada too. Actually tons who works as caregivers and domestic helpers.

Thinking a woman is going to solve all your problems. Yikes.

Thinking a woman will solve all my problems? Uh...I've been planning on retiring abroad for years just because differences in currencies and cost of living mean I can retire earlier and more comfortably if I do it abroad. Being able to do it in a place with more traditional and more physically fit women is just a bonus. I'm not going to retire at ~42, move halfway around the world, and not plan on meeting new people where ever I go.@@36handy

My wife and I are a part of a Filipino community in Canada: in the summer, as many as 50 families gather for picnics in parks or by the lakeside. Some of the families are new immigrants, others have been here for over 40 year. Most of us are from the Philippines, but some are married to non-Filipino Canadians and Americans. Our children get to attend colleges and universities, including those who were born in the Philippines. Many of us get to visit our homes and relatives every few years. We also send money to our relatives and get to sponsor them to immigrate. Other than the usual challenges and tragedies (cancer, inflation, family issues, etc), life could not be better in Canada and America. I guess we are lucky, or in Christian terms, blessed. We hope many Canadians and Americans who read this humble note will give Canada and US a chance to live their dream life.

Paul, in my opinion when it comes to feminism women don’t want the responsibility or the bill when it comes to making a big decision. It’s so much easier to be the person who decides and then shift responsibility to others.

Dating in the U.S. is Serial Daters Dating.! After a few dates it is so not ok. Example: 1000 men go thru the checkout counters and the young female cashiers are only interested in a date! Even when there is a rare long term relationship, they abort the babies.
@ottowokeninger9617
@ottowokeninger9617 Жыл бұрын
Not sure if that's all true, but it can certainly feel as if there are 1000 men to every available (and decent) woman in the US. It does seem quite unbalanced, and it would be great if more in-depth studies on it were allowed. The west seems to deny or prohibit doing anything that would make positive changes on that level (for a certain people, and censor as well).

This is so timely. I commented earlier today on your video (on how you met you SO) about what guys in the age group of 35-45 are going through. He is so right about the mindset of women in the modern dating. Also, be careful of Asian women with this mindset "I am modern, yet I am traditional" - they are worse than feminists, they will choose as per their convenience.

Modern doesn't seem to mean anything good these days. Like a high-speed modern train ride into the fire. Maybe it means harder to deal with, materialistic and rejects natural order.

I am 40 in this age bracket it's totally fine dating wise. You just need to present yourself well and as long as you're tall and look healthy you'll always get hits anywhere. Like it or not modern is what it is now. Just deal with it.

@@youngandfree93 Your success is not my failure, mate. And you also don't know which specific region I am talking about. You also suggest being "tall", as if that is option for many guys. We get it you are "Chad Thunder Cock with Bling Bling Bang", but I was expressing a general situation.

@@youngandfree93 Yep, and that's why I'm moving to the Philippines. I'll deal with it by moving to a country where a man's height isn't such a major concern, plus, the women in the Philippines are, on average, about 4' 11" tall. So, I have a better chance of being "tall enough" for them compared to what American women are looking for.
