Watching this has led me to read a lot of stuff about skin and acne. This skin care amazes me. In the U.S. these kids would probably be given antibiotics, but is that a good thing? They mainly have inflammation, not infection. Cutibacterium acnes (aka Propionibacterium acnes) is a bacterium that lives in the human skin all the time. It doesn’t usually cause a problem and, in fact, may be helpful. But it’s an anaerobic bacterium and can reproduce out of control if there is no oxygen, as when it’s in a plugged-up hair follicle. The human body has about a million hair follicles, but only about 100,000 hairs. The skin oil glands are located inside the hair follicles. Skin oil keeps the skin flexible and waterproof. Interestingly, the sex hormones influence the skin oil glands. At puberty, androgen hormones can cause the oil glands to produce an excess of oil, which can get trapped in plugged hair follicles. When the skin oil, dead skin cells, and ingrown hairs get trapped under the skin, the body’s inflammatory response brings extra fluid, white blood cells, lymphocytes, interferon and other substances to remove these injurious stimuli and start the healing process. Estheticians help the body’s own healing process by removing much of the toxic substance that is caught under the skin.

April 22 to June 6, 2023 The comments in some videos have translations of conversations that reveal he has seen a dermatologist, is on antibiotics as well as topical meds and home hygiene recommendations. He is young, 12-14 yrs (not clear). Thuy discusses her strategy and sequence for treating aspects of his acne. This is one video of his 3rd visit, it was much worse on 1st visit. The "regulars" here have been discussing his journey, and that visits #4 and #3 were posted out of order, confusing most of us. P25 shows the result when Gy has to return to Taiwan after summer break. Check them out, you can observe how Thuy addresses this extreme, severe case. She makes it clear to his mother that she cannot do it alone, meds and daily hygiene are required.

(Not that there’s a foolproof way to do that… yet.😑) As someone else mentioned, most of these spas use a third party to edit and post the videos. They will sometimes post a series out of order. It may be to generate new views. I can’t say for sure.🤷‍♀️

I remember from the first videos that they said he went to a doctor twice but the meds only made it worse. Every acne medication that is usually given orally you will see your skin get worse before it gets better. Accutane is like that. But if you continue to take it within 6-8 months your skin is clear. I know that Thuy is helping clean this up and is doing great but I hope the mother understands that his skin needs a medication that will control the overproductive oil glands that cause these breakouts because it will continue to come back.

Yes they do. They can buy from the pharmacy. According to their conversation, Thuy also stocks it. Thuy and the mother of the boy are talking about his improvement, his skin is less oily, he's less sensitive to the touch because the inflammation has decreased.

There is confusion as to the chronological order and date on this video as well as the condition of his skin as compared to previous recent videos. For some reason, the sessions labeled part 4 from 5/12 were posted/uploaded out of order. This session is labeled Part 3 from 5/5. Makes sense that Part 1 series from 4/22. Part 2 series from 4/27. Part 3 series (with more vids coming) from 5/5 and Part 4 series (vids already posted) were from 5/12. The condition of his skin improvement visually backs up the dates posted as well. How horrible this young man must go through such torture and still have terrible skin. A real MD is needed with real antibiotics and much needed products to help heal the skin. His skin as it is now looks likes treatment from one hundred years ago. We have to remember a technician can’t cure acne, but they make it manageable and minimise cyst development and scarring. Enilsa has had K as a client for 3 years now, he still has acne but he looks great and no scarring!

interesting to watch for fetishists of acne clips; but anything but effective! After a few days the pimples are back. Regular use of a peeling (once or twice a week) is suitable for reducing blackheads. Mechanical peels such as glycolic acid and salicylic acid peels remove blackheads and dead, excess skin cells. The skin receives a visibly fresher and more radiant complexion. For severe acne, only oral medications in the form of tablets or pills help. These include the antibiotic groups tetracycline, erythromycin and clindamycin. These are usually prescribed in combination with medications that are applied to the skin

Hooray! Thuy and Gy are winning! So much less terribly infected/ inflamed areas. The reduction in pus is such a good sign. Much praise and admiration for this courageous young man; he is so brave to endure such painful treatments! Also, I am sure both he and his mother are working together to ensure that the recommended home care routines and medications are being done as advised. No doubt oral antibiotics and possibly steroids are helping fight this so- dreadful condition. ( such medications are available in Vietnam without the need for a prescription) I pray that all involved continue to persevere,& that each treatment gets easier for him to bear. What a joyous day it will be when he is well enough to return to school! I am sure that his friends and fellow students will be so very happy to see what a handsome young man was hidden beneath the tragedy of his acute skin condition. Here is a thought: As this journey progresses, I imagine he will learn to smile more and more freely... Can you picture what it must be like to be afraid to smile because it not only hurts, but the facial movement causes lesions to break open and emit pus, blood, etc? How a facial towel or pillowcase ends up looking after use? This young man is a true warrior inside, in my opinion! Keep going! We are praying and cheering for you! ❤🙏💐💜
