whenever thuy uploads a video with this kind of skin, i always think 'wouldnt it be better if the client had an exfoliating treatment so the skin isnt as flakey and dry'? I am not a professional, so maybe someone who is could let me know? Not criticizing thuy, i love her work, i was just curious.

I think that as well. There is a waxy coat over the skin and that makes it harder for them to come out. If she got the skin clean and warm they would pop out easier, without the blade, for most.

I don’t think all of these are Thuy , I think it’s a compilation of all the client in the “Deep Sac Spa” clinic that allowed thuy to film their treatment because some of the treatment are extremely thorough and others miss the sac so I think it’s multiple dermatologists maybe 🤔. It wouldn’t make sense for lol the quality of the treatment to vary between patients if it’s the same dermatologist all the time.

Yeah I'm so glad that Thuy has been trying out different ways to extract. She's been using q-tips for pressing out infection while avoiding damaging the client's skin. She's so far ahead in her levels of expertise and willingness to grow for the good of her clients. Sorry....I'm a Thuy follower. Lol.🤗

Question what good did the tweezers do besides clipping the tops off of the blackheads? Plus it only works on the blackheads that are sticking up high enough that the tweezers can clip the tops off. If she isn't getting the whole blackhead out only clipping the tops. Then I don't see how this is a good technique. Maybe I'm missing something am I missing something? I'm asking seriously not trying to be a smart ass just really want to know what good is this technique also same with her scrapping her nail across the nose it's only scrapping the tops off leaving the whole full of content. Scrapping the nail and the tweezers seem to get the same outcome removing the tops and leaving the rest of the blackhead in the pores. Inquiring minds want to know how these techniques work again not being a smart ass really want to know what good these techniques are???? Thanks
@maryjanekeao23513 жыл бұрын
The use of whatever skin care wash you gave the client worked very well. Pore content popped out easily and formed. Very clean pops. Love it when an esty uses a needle, it’s more gentle and less bleeding. Thank you.🤩👍🏽
@bettygray41913 жыл бұрын
Actually a needle is more damaging than a scalpel. Needles develop a " drag" when you reuse them and that causes more soft tissue damage and more pain. They are not meant for repeated use. Neither are scalpels, but the way they are made, they are super sharp and are perfect for jobs like this as getting a new 1 for each pop would be coat prohibitive. The bleeding is a mere side effect . The face is very vascular and there are thousands of capillaries just under the skin so whether you just squeeze, or no matter what tool you use, its going to bleed some. Extractions done with her technique and a blade heals up more quickly and cleanly than when using a needle. Most of the technicians Ive seen dont know how to use a needle properly anyway. They dig relentlessly to pop content out without having to squeeze and flick it up and sideways when exiting the skin which makes me cringe because it is so damaging. So Thuy is the best there is. With the exception of 2 other technicians who are nowhere nearly as good as Thuy; the rest have no clue what they are doing. Their technique is abysmal and they apparently think they are working on dolls instead of human beings.

As a therapist, I have recommended based on research that self harmers and those with excoriation disorder watch these videos, as it reduces the urges. However, on a personal level, I would like to know three things, in all seriousness: 1. Why do the clients not pop their own pimples? 2. Wouldn’t they have to come back often? 3. Is a knife really necessary?
@mistywheeler24473 жыл бұрын
As an esthetician i advise my clients not to pop their own. We use much cleaner and more gentle techniques to reduce the spread of bacteria and lessen the chance of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I prescribe home care products for my clients for their specific skincare needs I also work under a physician, who if needed, will prescribe oral medication. They will continue to return for a time but each appt the extractions lessen. No the knife is not exactly necessary I use a lancet but there needs to be an exit route for the sebum. If you just try to push it out without giving it a way out the likelihood of spreading that infection by rupturing the pore is higher and again higher chance of PIH

And why skip over huge pops to pop bumps we can barely see and barely expell anything...as well as you have groups that could be popped all at the same time but you still pop individually as well as use that scalpel unnecessarily.
@QuirkyTJones2 жыл бұрын
There is no need for most of these pokes... you could literally just press anywhere on this face and the pops come out with no trouble and with very little pressure. I feel like the needle poking is making the problem worse. And I just don't understand why they have to pile stuff on their gloves...we just want to see the contents pop out and after that you can put it in a napkin... especially the really inflamed ones that are nothing but pus...I would also like to know why these people have such bad skin...it has to be the food, water, climate or other things that are shared amongst the culture. And whatever it is it is killing their skin. Then spas like this don't help bc some of these people should really see a Dr and take oral meds, topical ointments, as well as extractions. I really hope someone responds to my comment bc I genuinely would like to know what is going on.
