1:54 my Arabic /i/ sounds like /i/ and /e/. It sounds different, and it might confuse a native for sure. It can be mistaken as the diphthong /eɪ/.

Hi Josh I'm going to pass TOEFL EXAM, what are the tips that you can advise me ? Thank you so much your lessons helping with my pronunciation?

Unfortunately I don't have many tips for that specifically. I don't really believe in test preparation, especially because for most people it tends to cause the wrong mentality and goal of trying to pass the test instead of the test just being what it is: a measurement of your current knowledge and ability. I know that's not very helpful, but I guess my advice would be to not stress over it too much, especially since that can lower your performance. Easier said than done, I know. If you've never taken such a test before, it can also be useful to find a mock exam or past test so you have some idea of what you'll be tested on and what the process will be like. Other than that, just keep working on your skills like you normally do and target your weaknesses

@@NativeEnglishHacks I bet if both of us showed up, we wouldnt score an A+ but we'd rickroll the test in the blind. Fluency > Tests. (we'd be Saitama and Genos walking in, passing the exam, and walking out with no ducks given. you'd obviously be Genos in terms of scoring an "S" LMAOOO)

When I say "in + a", it sometimes sounds like " you know" or " inner" Can you please help me fix this problem? Thank you Josh

Could very likely be a mouth posture issue, especially if you're producing an R sound in place of a schwa (though in British English "in a" would sound a lot like "inner", so make sure you're not using R's wrong in American English). As for "you know", the sounds involved are so different than what they're supposed to be for "in a" that it's hard for me to give any advice other than you're definitely not forming the sounds correctly.
