I never thought I’d ever want to go to Albania, but this has changed my mind.

Albania is a land of mountains, lakes, rivers,streams, sea. You can't escape spectacular landscape's as mountains cover 3/4 of its territory. Furthermore it is the second richest country in Europe in terms of water reserves. Albania in its tiny territory consists of 247 natural lakes,( big & small), 500 artificial lakes and endless rivers and streams that run wild through the country in each direction. ( I don't need to mention the seaside,two different seas that stretch alongside the country). It is still not a globalised country, infrastructure is not that developed as its other European countries, but it is a Heaven for adventurous hikers and offroad travellers. Albania is distinguishly Albanian, a unique culture all of his own. People lived high up in these mountains, uninterested and undisturbed by the world around them.

Let alone the annoying people who give you free drinks and foods at all corners of the country. Why visit a place with a super including people and microclimates and the richest fauna in europe. :D Welcome. Albania is a super destination to travel to, and probably safer than most cities in the west.
