Well Alex that was a good Scottish grump, nothing like it for getting things off your chest, Councils and dodgy projects which turn into money pits, it's where most politicians learn their craft. @@blearyview2254 No Alex, I received a missed call from the salesman and haven't bothered replying. I'll see what the weather's like tomorrow and maybe go try it again. To buy it the ZZR would have to go and now isn't the time to sell it. Also I haven't been on the ZZR for ages, I'm sure when I do, any thoughts of replacing it will vanish quickly.

I heard another story about the council today, there is a big new Lexus garage just been built but they cannot open, it seems the council has yet to give their permission!!! You would think they would want a brand new business to get off to a flyer.

Hi Alex, another great video! Incompetence within councils is rife, its all about back handers and getting the job done for as little as possible! I was looking at getting another bike but nothing really stands out at the moment plus the house needs worked on so I think I will concentrate on the house in 2024 and keep her indoors happy. @blearyview2254 I need a new boiler so I'm just going to have the entire central heating system replaced. I was hoping to have it replaced in 2 years when the mortgage is finally oaid off but its now becoming too unreliable so I'm having to bring that job forward 😒

@@BMCMOTOUK That a not a cheap one, two years will pass in a flash and then you will have lots of extra cash to spend. I know when we got rid of the mortgage, that is when we started to have spare cash.

No surprises with the new subs Al, well deserved. Now if we're sharing authorities wasting money, I can top the lot with the money that is wasted in the NHS. They seem to throw money at every level of management, but take it from the area that desperately needs it, ambulances on the road. Chuck in assistants for those managers, and it gets ridiculous. Like the glove liners👌👌 The Classic is looking as lovely as ever, and those bags really suit it nicely. Ride safe bud👍👍

Nice videos 👍 the pool thing seems to be the plague of Scottish councils. Dumfries pool and leisure centre built with very little parking and a pool too small for swimming events at a cost of 17 million. It wasn’t open long before cracks appeared and problems arose eventually being closed for five years at a repair cost of 20 million. You do wonder who in the council signs these things off as being built appropriately maybe no one bothers.

Morning Alex, I’m afraid it’s not just your council that are incompetent, it appears to be the norm now with most councils, the only things they are any good at is spending public funds like it’s going out of fashion and denying any responsibility for their mistakes, so glad we have the stress relief of riding bikes 😂 all the best 👍

Thank you, yes still in good health and physically fit (touchwood) and hoping for many more years riding. I try to keep the bikes clean and they are washed after every winter ride, my NC will be five years old this year and it still looks like new. Neighbours must think I am nuts, out cleaning the bikes after every ride haha.

Morning Peter, the swimming centre will finally open on Monday and it been over two years since it closed. I did not mention it in the video but this is just one of very many financial scandals that have hit the local taxpayers. I really do like the look of the updated Meteor but I will stick with what I have, well for now 🤣🤣🤣

@@blearyview2254 I didn't realise that RE had a 'new' Meteor in the offing for 2024. I like the look of polished alloy engine and wire spoked wheels (though prefer tubeless tyres) but after having mine for 18 months never got on with the 'cruiser' style. Apart from that I'd still be riding mine 😂

@@Lanes-Explorer5733 I did not think the cruiser style pegs were too bad but I will only really know if I lived with one. There is another bike that catches my eye, a Benelli IMPERIALE 400, I do like the look of this one as well as it in the mould of the Classic. Nothing in the modern bikes makes me want to change any of my current stable but I do like this retro style, the simplicity and of course the price 🤣🤣🤣

Morning Alex, sorry I am so late. Really hard to keep up, and produce my own at the moment, but be assured, I will get around to yours. A nice, thoroughly enjoyable wee bimble. We all have lots of new subscribers join us, then leave just as quickly, so nothing to fear there, but it does sometimes make us wonder why ? I have lost a few this winter, but I think it is due to those owners of Classic 350’s who have since sold their bikes, so are no longer interested in content which features them. Which is a shame as I think we are more than just Classic 350 channel’s, as we take people to places, they might not discover for themselves (does that make sense ?). Hey ho, as long as more stay, than leave. Keep up the good work, cheers.

Morning Ian, I just about to head out on classic and blinking rain started grrrr, I think it just a sunny shower. Don't beat yourself up about watching my videos, they not going anywhere haha. As you know I not that fussed about subs so if folk decide to move on then that fine, I just really enjoy making videos. I think some folk may watch a video of mine then sub as a sort of bookmark to come back too, then they decide the channel is not for them and remove the sub. I am happy at the slow rate of increase because I have noticed over time folk are more likely to stick around. I watch lots of channels where folk do not have any bike I am interested in but the content is entertaining. Just keep doing what you doing Ian and your channel will no doubt grow.

Evening Mick, IT is a sorry state of affairs. To be fair, it is the city centre that is deserted due to the powers that be driving cars away. Go to any of the many out of town retail parks and you will find them rammed as you get free parking that is not a million miles away from the shops. It not rocket science.
