For me it’s how you make all hair types beautiful. There is no bigger win than that!! Our black hair is beautiful - straight/relaxed or afro! PS: personal opinion, I believe relaxed her is still natural hair and so is afro hair.

Hey Girl, Love your hair! Can't wait for a tutorial on how you achieved this look. I really want to applaude you on keeping it real and mentioning objectively where you got your hair done while telling us your story - I love the honesty, we need more of that. I find in general that hairdressers are shady, that's why it's so difficult to get pricelists at most salons. So many of them charge you based on what you look and sound like, it's sad. I am convinced that they scammed you. We should call their bluff and tell them we only have enough for what they initially agreed to. Anyway, looking forward to more of your content and let me know if you need an amazing stylist who comes to your home and knows her stuff.

Thank you! You know… I’m starting to notice a trend between black run hair salons and a lack of transparency in pricing and it really irritates me. Strongly considering teaching myself how to trim hair and fully maintaining my relaxed hair myself like I used to with my natural hair because this ain’t it chile.

Whoa girl! I once paid one point sunthing for a pexi cut on my freaking relaxed hair😩😢😭😳. It’s the shock at the till point experience for me too. That level of unprofessionalism is a disservice. The pits fam, the pits 🙌🏽 I also feel like people price you based on how much they think you can pay! Walk in looking hella flames, smelling good with an apple device then boom 🤯 they pull a Sars on you! I’m having triggers 😅😅

No the minute a hairdresser has to pull out scissors and a relaxer. It’s late for pricing. Black hair salons need more transparency!!!! How can you have a variable pricing system in 2022!!!? No guys. You’re spot on! They price based on perception and that’s absolute garbage!

Thank you honey! Its the Too Faced Gingerbread Extra Spicy palette and I used "extra spicy" on the lid and "lick the spoon" on the inner corners of the eyes. Lip combo is Mac chestnut lip liner and Maybelline liquid lipstick in the shade "fighter" obsessed with this lipstick!!!! hope you enjoy it :)

Healthy relaxed hair 1 : Choose your relaxer strength based on texture,not tightness of curl or density of hair 2: leave the no - lyes relaxer alone.They are extremely drying..choose sodium hydroxide. 3: Use a silicone base heat protectant 4: rough dry your hair before going through it with a brush or blow dryer . 5: When ironing your hair, turn the iron down. 6: If you have tight curls,don’t stretch your relaxer ..you will have breakage 7: Don’t air dry your hair. Relaxed hair needs heat to close the cuticles ‼️

@@zandilek1551 It basically means that there's a big difference in texture between your natural hair and relaxed hair, so it's more prone to breakage when you detangle or style your hair.

Prices to go to a salon in Canada/US are so much worse for natural hair. For example to do a relaxer on virgin hair (Includes Wash, Cut & Style) it would be 460 CAD or R5870 for your length of hair. Such a big decision to think about saving money and not going to a professional which is so unfortunate

Firstly love your hair.it is the epitome of healthy hair.for shedding i would suggest doing a black tea hair rinse.it worked for me when i was natural,and now when i have relaxed hair.
