I do this with my three year old all the time, it has already changed the way he moves, it's pretty amazing. I did this with my now-eleven year old when he was younger. He's never taken a formal martial arts class at all, but his body was learning the whole time and he didn't even know it. When bigger kids try to wrestle with him or intimidate them, he EATS THEM ALIVE. Pretty gratifying to see, and a validation of this way of working. It's saved my ass twice already. Takes lots of breath work.

Actually you can do it only with three years old child old with a limp practitioner

I see that the move do work and they effective, only if you can control your tension and control your emotional stress in the moment that it counts, I 've been training systema in this for five years I still feel like a beginner , I learn new things every time I train with systema

Systema is fusion.just a more dynamic version. If done quickly it could be devastating.however like everything else it depends on environmental and situational factors.the key to winning in combat is adaptability with a clear objective.management of chaos is success.experience could humble alot of us.

It's difficult to walk across the Atlantic ocean, but I know what isn't difficult: to spot a bad groundwork. And this is very bad groundwork.
@lucubri16786 жыл бұрын
But it is interesting offer. Do you have any videos of that kind of challenges in your school, or any kind of resisting sparing/grappling? Because, the door of your school is always open, it is indication that your school practice real sparring and real grappling. May you be so kind to send me some links to these videos? Thanx

Lu Cubri That means you’re in Europe. There are Systema schools all over the place. In fact, the HQ of Systema is in Moscow. Go visit them, prove that they’re doing bad groundwork, and video tape it for us.

The priblem with systema is that they talk about relaxation as a good thing, but the most relaxed is the attacker! He shouldnt be relaxed to proof that relaxation beats tension.

I think the mistake that non-practitioners of Systema make is that there needs to be some sort of technique expressed response to what the opponent is doing that is clearly distinguishable. I mean some stance, hands in a noticeably different position, screaming etc. No no, what's happening is a blended response that is barely noticeable to the eye because it is short, economical and non-classical. It's subtle and that's what makes Systema different. The viewer is looking for and overwhelming "Tiger Technique Number 5) when the Sysetma practitioner does a slight move here and a twist there to get the job done.

May I just say that other arts have already accomplished that. This art does not, and just seems like an excuse to not train hard and smart. I mean come on! Even Aikido has a better foundation and approach to fighting than this method, and Aikido is hard to use! And seriously! "...a blended response that is barely noticeable to the eye because it is short, economical and non-classical." WTF?! If I recall, even Filipino Martial Arts show that within their flow drills and which can or can not be distinguishable, but yet the people who I have taught that to in MMA saw the effectiveness of it even when I did not explain it to them. This method just seems "To good to be true" if these unhealthy, unfitted, hardly any flow or technique, no muscle definition from training, and usually overweight individuals don't seem to have "ANY" of the answers to combat training. If you can by all means explain it to me, then I welcome it, but from what I have seen.....this is some serious bull$%&#!
@Jericho1189410 жыл бұрын
Orrrrrrr.....maybe its because I have seen so many different ones and even many different individuals who are quite good in their craft and obviously show me how much I have to learn and vice versa. I understand your point, the simple "Don't knock it, until you try it" saying. Although, honestly....I could look at even a complex martial art and tell where it is effective due to anatomy or just simple force exerted from a technique used. Here I just see no adequate training or resistance in a "common sense" approach. Please forgive me if I sound rude. I just don't see it useful in any manner. Although, I guess I hope to meet someone and see if they can actually do this art that seems very suspicious and yet too "good to be true" from what they show and say.

None of this garbage works on a trained fighter. I'd be surprised if this worked against some bum on the street. LoL
@jooshter10 жыл бұрын
Not designed for that type of application. It is a military application. As for it working on trained fighters...maybe..maybe not. There is no perfect fighting system anywhere. Fighters of all statures have been defeated. Best case scenario, use the head and stay out of them. Cheerio

GenuinePuncher your comment is like someone watching a boxer use a pear ball who says ' this garbage will never work!'. pear ball works the attribute of hand rythm and speed. this systema exercise works movement and relaxation. you don't see a boxer doing rythm drills in the ring and you don't see a systema practitioner doing this in combat.
