🎄 this ziggy christmas cartoon is timeless and enjoyable to watch. Also I miss watching other christmas cartoons as well. At one time the cable company use to jam pack them on television and then all the sudden they stopped them. Still enjoy them though, no matter what. Ziggy and the peanuts are like my two favorite cartoons.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I've loved Ziggy for decades. I used to love reading his comic strip every day and then on Sunday's comics. Ziggy was ALWAYS a really well done comic strip, and this 🎄Christmas🎄Special was even better! And by keeping in the commercials that aired with this made it even that much better! It was like taking a little trip in a Time Machine. Such special memories and moments. Each and every one of these commercial features products we used to use, love, and gave each other for Christmas. Thank you again. This was a really special video that encapsulated everything wonderful childhood, teenage years, etc. Great times and wonderful memories!

Wow, I never would have known that was Corey Feldman in that commercial without reading your comment. I've read that he was just 3 years old when he made that commercial; and since he was born in 1971, that puts the commercial @ 1974.

Ziggy was my favorite card greeting character in the seventies, but I was never aware of any Ziggy cartoons, so I'm overjoyed to have found this most beautiful cartoon. @anthonychihuahua Yes, I remember those! I use to cut them out and glue them into a scrapbook when I was in high school. Ziggy was my Hero back then. He was a pacifist, which is why I loved him. I think because I was bullied. I never fought back. Ziggy seemed like the kind of guy to follow. What a great character. I wish could get a plush toy of him! He's the Best! 😃🏆

I loved some Ziggy!! I had a Ziggy stuffed guy. I think it had his dog but I couldn't find it in any old pictures!! We never really took pictures on holidays or birthdays but my mom has a ton of pictures but as far as I can remember we just sat around and did Santa and presents together!! My parents always delivered on Christmas and birthdays and throughout the year as im handicap and my children was hard so my mom and Grandpa always tried to get what I wanted and it was mainly figures!! GI Joe!! WWF He-man and Star Wars until it became music and clothing.

I just now realized that this special was directed by the same guy that did “The Thief and the Cobbler”. I believe he (Richard Williams) also worked on “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and the 1970s animated version of “A Christmas Carol”.

I had ziggy stickers when I was a kid and read 📚 the comics in the news paper 📰 🗞 📃 everyday. And my nickname was twiggy ( Ik his name of the character was ziggy of course but just changed it a bit ) back then also. Plus I was skinny then also. You kn like a 🌳 🌲 🌴 trees branch. The owner of the arcade in my town use to call me that also.

This video would target, as you mentioned in the poll you took, the 10% audience who enjoys them. If you do a search of "Christmas Commercials" on here, they are quite popular and show nothing but Christmas commercials with millions of views. You can find "Ziggy's Gift" uploaded on another KZbin channel without the "crappy commercials" where you can enjoy it there. This video is not intended for the 90% that find commercials annoying.
