Sometimes, if you've asked to be put out when you have a colonoscopy, an understanding physician will allow you to review the video when you come out of the anaesthesia. They delete the video immediately after the procedure if you choose not to view it. Otherwise, they delete if AFTER you've seen it for yourself. While I would not choose to be awake when they perform the procedure, it is interesting to watch it almost clinically after you're awake and ready to go home.
