I feel as though Eric is right based on where he buys fruit salad. He seems to tend to go to the bohemian sheik all organic vegan places that give you a small salad for 20 bucks. So in that instance the fruit salads likely don't have any melon in it. But for most restaurants and grocery stores there typically is different melons for filler purposes because melons are big they are cheap to buy in bulk compared to berries and other smaller fruit.

About the fruit salad: I think you're BOTH RIGHT. Let me explain! Colleen is right about cantaloupe being in every fruit salad. HOWEVER - Erik was talking about ordering fruit salad for the kids, and those fruit salads are different! They put more kid-centric fruit in them like blueberries and bananas, also less of a choking hazard. So if Erik orders one for the kids, it won't have cantaloupe, but if he orders one for himself, it will be 99% cantaloupe! I think other parents can back me up on this one! 😂

I think she said she will be able to talk about it after the audition though, which if it's masked singer they have to keep it really secret. That would be fun to watch though!
