I backed My Time at Evershine cackling like a madwoman, thank you so much for alerting me to it's upcoming existence!

I'd been waiting for the KS to go live, and when I got up that morning and saw how far they had already gotten... I may have had the rest of the household running in to see see what the shouting was about... =chuckles= Stev for romancable!

My time at Sandrock was such a good game, and a quality experience. It doesn't surprise me they got this kind of money out the gate.

News videos, yes please! Sometimes I have a busy week and can't listen to the whole podcast, I usually just check out the news segment and come back to listen to the entire episode at a later time

Hi, Josh! Congrats on the 1k+ subs! I'm so proud of the work you've done! So so so excited for the next podcast episode! This has been a weekly thing for me! Fantasy Life is my main highlight! I likee Evershine but I'm still worried because of the recent issue they had.. I'm glad they addressed it though.

I can't wait(well I have to but you get the point) to see some of these games, I've been waiting a long time for Fantasy Life. I don't normally do this(except one time with Slime Rancher & Undertale) but if Fantasy Life does get a Steam port I'd be willing to buy it again.(Or get it on Steam & get it on the Switch or Switch 2 later) I loved the first one so I can play twice & maybe slightly change things depending on which platform I play it on. Also it'll be interesting to play My Time at Evershine, I got both of the last games but only got a chance to play some of the first before having other things I needed to work on but I enjoyed it & watched people mess around. I like the games so I'll probably have fun with Evershine too when I have the chance. To help better explain the job thing you mentioned in the first game you go to the job guild to switch & while you don't need to switch jobs for story reasons it's just encouraged due to jobs having buffs for different things or helping for certain things you do.(Examples woodcutter having a power gauge that loads up to help make stronger swings sometimes, the crafting jobs if you have the right job license active when doing the minigame connected to it if you are at a high enough level will have a gauge that fills up which can be used to make your character auto do parts while sped up, paladins are the only job/life that can use both a weapon & a shield at the same time) It's nice to have multiple options & you get better quality items if you build them yourself & if you have the material thanks to your travels/other jobs you save some money too. If something doesn't go how you wanted it or you got an upgraded item you can sell stuff for a little bit of dosh too. I hope given they got characters from the app game that they removed the gender restrictions on clothes cause if one item was labeled female the girl players could only wear them. I like options & sometimes the girls have nicer clothes so I was kind of stuck playing the girl character. I was kind of surprised when I got a chance to play the app game(kind of stopped playing cause they ran out of story updates & the app version isn't fun to level up jobs in) & was shocked that I could play as either gender with no issues wearing either's clothing.

Part of why My Time at Evershine is so far along is not just because they are using some of the Sandrock mechanics, but also some of the Project ME... which was what the game was originally going to be. I'm really glad that when the partner for Project ME backed out they decided to keep going and just go back (mostly) to the My Time design.

I mean, if that keeps working well for them then why not?

I'm worried about Fantasy Life being delayed to add an open world. It's so rare to play a game that does open world right. Especially with performance on the Switch being such a gamble.

Going forward too, u can change the titles to gace it just br gaming news and thrn the podcasts to help differentiate between the two for the fans using it But as a fan of both games of the my time series and someone who played project me beta, i already went and added to the kickstarter so im looking forward to the next iteration ❤ (despite my hesitation with the new artstyle)

like a conspiracy theorist, i’ve been saying fantasy life was being delayed for the next console 😭 it’s never too late to pick it up! i’m playing it for the first time this year on a modded 2DS 💕 it’s super cute and fun
