Thanks Kevin, yeah Type B or C is definitely preferred for most shooting.

I get it, we all want type B or C. But your suggestion is a good use of the auto restore to A -as a warning that shutter speed is getting too low when is Aperture priority. So that's a good reason to lift it up from the default 1/6th to the level you want the warning blackout to kick in. Thanks, subscribed.

Hi Randy, Pretty much every pullout between Sooke and Renfrew is a photo op. but Botanical Beach, Mystic Beach and Sombrio Beach would be some of the more accessible and spectacular spots to check out Thanks for the sub and hope you have a great trip

You may not be aware but turning this feature off helps improve the AF

Interesting, I would assume only when it is active at low shutter speeds (1/30) not when it is not engaged

@@raincoastphoto I should be more specific. When you are in a burst, the indicators flashing hooks back the AF a bit.

Not at all, It's the Cotton Carrier G3, it's a camera carrier. A great piece of kit for hiking
