Hi Susan , i have an 80 year old lady friend that you to live here in Florida , ishe is very hunched, she hasn't done much with somatics, yet, we known them her and her husband 4 years , i been sharing and talking about it too her , i have have even sat with her doing your movements i sent her your video and Colms video's , she hasn't done much if any alone. She fell! and now her ribs hurt she still walks 30 minutes a day, she said she can't breath well , i have " startle reflex" moves with Colm, too, i was wondering which videos you have that might help f. She's waiting for xray results from the Dr, but, what might you have with that or similar that i hope she will do , i bet, she and her husband get concerned at her breathing i was hoping for something tonight, but, i will have her start with this one M

Hi Susan. Do you have any releases for the throat and front the neck? Thanks
@somaticsforyou3 жыл бұрын
That's an excellent question. I don't have any KZbins on that yet. Let me recommend the book, Anatomy of the Voice, by Theodore Dimon. He really gives you a thorough understanding of that area. Here's a movement for the pre-vertebral muscles on the front of the spine: gently bring your chin toward your adam's apple (not toward your chest); the back of the neck will get long; slowly release and rest before you repeat. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Use very small micro movements. Go very slowly. See if that helps. Thank you for your feedback.
