5:13 this is a very classic trope of 2000s metalcore. Bands like ABR and parkway almost always wrote songs lacking any sort of set song structure. That's what made it fun to listen to. Glad there's bands like this and Vein that are bringing that back.

They worked with Randy Leboeuf again for this one. He’s another producer/engineer at Graphic Nature Audio, which is Will Putney’s studio. They also just signed to Three Dot Recordings, Periphery’s label, and will be releasing this album through them- kind of a different move for both parties.

I love Boundaries, but I hope those clean vocals aren't a sign of things to come. They're pretty bland, they don't fit and the first time they came up put a massive dent in the song's momentum. Saving grace is that they were only used twice and fairly briefly each time. The only back up vocals they need are the bassist's screams. Otherwise, it's exactly what you want from Boundaries - heavy, aggressive, variable structure, riffy while also breakdown-tastic.
