The talk is excellent...one has to be grounded to be a good leader. I was fortunate to be a student of AIIMS New Delhi...some people would say I've studied in a 5 star place and I don't know what India is like...however, they don't know that right from final year MBBS right through internship and again during registrarship we were posted for many months in villages ..and I think all AIIMSONIAN s enjoyed those postings the most. My batchmates and I reminisced fondly about these postings during our reunion...perhaps no other medical college in India has such an extensive village posting...resident posting, right from UG days ...we know ground reality ...it's important in life

Life is safe in Armed Forces as u said Sir. Me and my elder brother both were unfortunate and could not join Army so we both want that my son to join Army and he is also interested to join Army. Though he is in only 8th class but he has only 4 year to prepare for his 1st NDA exam... I think he would crack the NDA.

Sir make sure that he indulges in outdoor activities too. If he becomes "awara" there may be a chance that he may not join into NDA, but if he becomes nerd, then definitely he won't be able to clear SSB.

Sir, with all due respect, our jawans aren't sleeping at cantonments eating vada pavs and having all the comforts and "safety" as you said. They risk their lives for the country. Being in army only secures you respect-wise and financially. These are very different things.

Eye opener for the young generations. That’s why in many countries , I have been to , have compulsory military services. Specially this is a must for India if our people want smooth survival of our future generations. Looking at the Indian history and invasions from outsiders, it teaches us that the world is dangerous place to live in since it’s full of invaders , violent internal criminals. Times have changed and the internal (domestic ) threats are far more dangerous with sloppy democracy and no rule of law and corrupt officials. It will be, to some extent , smoother for those who will keep themselves aware of situations called: “ Situational awareness “. It’s time for Modisab government to give the high school and university level, 2 year compulsory Indian military training.

Great thoughts put together. Iam sure the ‘life pushing them with finger from a twenty floor building (at 22:50 minutes) statement is symbolic phrase for challenges as with any training they won’t be able to land up on their feet after that fall. I believe in army training. It does enables you to get up and approach to solutions for most of the challenges in life. Regards.
