I swear to God You are a lifesaver! I've had a dermatitis infection on my scalp and neck for a month. No drugs or medical treatments worked. Its so bad I'm kept awake at night scratching. Washing my hair everyday made no difference. I just happen to have the same ACV in my cupboard. Never mind the spray bottle I just soaked my head. 5 mins later, blessed relief.

@@yassinouro-aguy1827 …use it 2-3 per week, but first wash & rinse you Jaír like you usually do…then apply the ACV (mixed with H20) and leave it in for 5-7 minutes…then rinse with water only.

I have 1 spot on my head that is very itchy, no dandruff. At first “head and shoulders”, was working, but not anymore. It was driving me nuts! So last week I looked on KZbin for remedies, and found your video. I live rural and couldn’t find any ACV with mother local, so I ordered it from AZ. Got it today and prepared it in a spray bottle. Right away the itching stopped for a couple of hours. Just applied it again, and hope the itch stays away longer. Will keep on using it! Thanks!

I add several drops of essential oil (Rosemary, Lavender are good) to help with smell. The oils are also antiseptic & have other benefits.

I think it's best if you do this after you wash your hair. Remember apple cider is acidic and acidic ingredients can cause damage to the hair. Apple cider vinegar is also great for the PH of the scalp. Usually it's recommended to shampoo, then apply the apple cider vinegar rinse and finally condition the hair.

I use an acv rinse after shampooing and have also done this to buy an extra day in between shampoos, too. Using it as my after shampoo rinse has totally eliminated any scalp itchiness and has helped bunches with hair fall, too. I am almost 71 and have baby fine partial curly, partial wavy shortish hair. The acv is just plain awesome! (Be sure to get either Braggs or one with the "mother" in it. The other acv is helpful but if it has the mother in it, it's way better.)

I just wash my hair in an apple cidar bath instead of doing a rinse. I'm being cautious of the ph of things in my hair now. And Apple cidar vinegar lowers the ph of water to what the natural ph of the hair is. So I just wash my hair and scalp in those baths only now. And so far my scalp is definitely less itchy and I can tell already that my scalp/hair is adjusting to fewer washes. I was needing a shower every 3 days. its already extended to almost a week, and my scalp just feels better. And it didnt know what the bumps were till you meantioned it, and realize I cant find a single one where I usually would find one.

I am almost 80-years old and was around prior to hair conditioner. My mother and I always rinsed our hair with apple cider vinegar. The vinegar odor does not linger and people were always complimenting on how healthy our hair appeared.

Using acv as a rinse for my scalp is the only thing that keeps my dandruff at bay😁 When I use it I dont shampoo. I condition then acv rinse.

I don't really even have dandruff. I do leave in a keratin spray but I occassionaly use vo5 products bc I heard it really cleans out any I guess residue left on the scalp. Idk what else it could be. My skin does itch w/ the change of weather. But never my scalp. Not that I can remember. That's gotta be it. I def don't have bugs crawling around, hair loss, or anything else more dramatic sounding.

So you have to make the ACV spray fresh every time, correct? No re-using of it since it has to be warm water? Any chance you could store the mixture in the refrigerator and perhaps warm it up for another use (let the bottle sit in hot water for a little bit)?

The problem with vinegar is it works at first but after a few months of relieve the scalp adjusts to it and everything goes back to normal itchiness and even Dandruff. I tried it and it just worked for 2 or 3 months.

it shouldn’t burn! I apply acv to sunburns as well and it has a little tingle for the first second and goes away and actually helps heal burns! To be cautious I would dilute it more, see how that feels and then work up to more if necessary!

Have you found out what is causing the itch? To prevent it? Fragrance? Formaldehyde releasing preservatives? The itchy Ms? I am in search for CGM products that don’t cause the itch in the first place.

Bacteria build up on your scalp. Theres no way to avoid it sometimes. I have a great skincare routine for my scalp and most of the time don't experience issues but after workouts, a few days without washing etc it can happen. This is one of the best things for ensuring healthy scalp.

They somehow becomes loose and stop being annoying (the scalp relaxes) they will indeed go with the next shampoo. Overtime there are less and less dandruffs so it's not a problem. We often need to do it every day at the beginning, and it's not recommended to wash the hair everyday with that type of problems. Cheers !

WILL IT HELP ''SERIOUS'' SCALP ITCH CONDITIONS. IF SO, HOW TO APPLY? I am now on my 6 month of itchy scalp and sores. Had it on skin too, but an injection of Kenalog took care of it. Scalp still a problem. Been to 2 doctors and my Dermatologist twice. Dermatologist says mine is eczema. Numerous prescription creams not helping. Just finishing up 2 weeks of Cephalexin, since the roots of my hair are now infected. Coal Tar shampoo useless. I switched to Dove Dermacare (with Pyrithione Zinc) and also not helping. Tonight my itch was much worse after using it, but could of been warm shower? Prescription Betamethasone Dipropionate helps with scalp itch, but a very small bottle is $20.00 (with insurance)! Around $25.00 with those RX Coupons. I was doing a search for apple cider vinegar for scalp itch...when I checked out this video. Good luck and keep those finger nails cut. You know why!

So..... I just bought a bottle of Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar. Looked for directions on how to shampoo with it. I read a comment at one blog that it is acidic and can irritate the scalp. My scalp is already irritated, so I am not going to chance using it unless I read otherwise. The pharmacist says he takes it every day for his weight. Hmm.... (He is not slim). While researching, I read that an oatmeal bath may be more in line of what I need for the itch and sores....or another $40.00 at the Dermatologist. I wish I had another injection of Kenalog. I also bought some Benadryl (Walmart brand)
