Your videos really help. It's good they are relatively short bc there's lot to learn and repeat. My left hip flexor for example has been so stiff for years and one exercise of yours released the jammed flexor. Like a miracle! My plan this summer is to restore function of my left hip and leg and the whole body that has gone through trauma but hasnt yet been totally healed. I have been so tense literally from toes to head, this kind of soft approach is the only thing that works. "Harder" exercises only throw me back. It's like building myself from inside out again. But im so happy your method works for me! Thank you! ❤

Tried these for the sternocleidomastoid as recommended and they are fantastic movements to release those muscles, neck feels so much looser in head rotations - thanks Colm!!

Thank you x millions for your videos 🙏 Is there a somatic exercise for releasing the temporalis muscle/area, please? And a somatic exercise for release of tiredness in eyes and heavy eye area?
@LearnSomatics Жыл бұрын
Add clenching and relaxing your jaw to this movement and it will release the temporalis also. Relaxing the back, neck and shoulders should alleviate the eyes too. But I’ll discuss it another video for sure.

That was very helpful. Did notice sore/painful along inner side of Left shoulder blade when releasing right side of neck. Is that unexpected??
@LearnSomatics Жыл бұрын
Probably just some tightness in the muscles in the back of the shoulder. Follow this sequence to release the shoulder blade: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWTaeY2mjdWgbbM

pain i felt that it could help if i had g jaw pain, i felt places that others haven’t. i think i might have an elevated 1st rib , do you know a movement that you might have to help that.
@cinmac32 ай бұрын
There are many KZbinrs talking about the jaw and hip (psos) can you share what you understand if anything and the movements that you might do. I think that might be good to discuss and help.
