Learn how to relieve pandemic stress with mindfulness for ADHD brains in this webinar by John Mitchell, Ph.D.
For adults with ADHD, who already report elevated levels of emotional distress and negative patterns of thinking (about themselves and the world around them), living through this pandemic has added an additional layer of day-to-day stress that may feel unbearable. Over time, these challenges can take a serious toll - and snowball into more difficulties.
Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) teach skills that have been shown to help reduce stress and improve mood management, as well as enhance focus. These skills are particularly beneficial in times of distress - and it’s never too late to begin learning them. For adults with ADHD, such skills may have long-term therapeutic benefits.
