I love how Sue's family was there for her during all her transitions. One of the most difficult things while pursuing spirituality is finding a support system through the journey. Alot of us have been here, I've been here not too long ago... Wonderful days and some really difficult ones but I appreciate how God shows up regardless of our short comings, of course not being oblivious to the consequences of our actions,He still shows up through it all. This was so wholesome to watch. Sue has a wonderful aura and a wonderful story teller.

When Sharon said she felt someone hug her from behind while she was on her knees crying out to God, I cried. I had the very same encounter with God when I was at my lowest about to take my life! He truly is a loving caring God! My battle with depression didn't end there but since then I've never thought of taking my life because I'm affirmed He is my wonderful counselor and comforter! I'm currently reading the minor prophets and it's changed my perspective completely. God is very merciful and ultimately wants everyone to receive salvation but we are also rebellious and you know what God reward rebellion just like He rewards faithfulness. That is why there is heaven and earth.

Very true. But we should acknowledge His Grace and love and be thankful for these, and continue to seek His righteousness.

I think we misunderstand grace if we think that it excempts holiness and righteousness. Grace empowers us to walk in holiness. Grace helps to overcome sin and to live righteously. The same grace picks us when we fall... Read Romans 5 &6

Can you and Sue do a podacst together,,..your friendship is such a vibe #BringSueBack Thank you for sharing your relationship story with God and in salvation...i feel like this is what should be shared in the 'crusades' to show the character of God. I have always been the 'good' girl and I love hearing people share this kind of experiences to encourage someone out there who hasn't had the best experience with church. Also just to quote the story of the prodigal son,..God will run to you like the father ran to his lost son,,,...it took me a while to understand that everyone has a journey and stories like this made me understand the grace and love of God. Sue, I don't think I've ever known your journey/story until now...and the whole time I was like oh woooow, I can soooooo relate with so many of your experiences and seasons.... Sharon, I could so relate with so much of your story as well! Oh wow! The sex and the binge drinking to numb and suppress the thoughts and feelings and everything, the beginning a walk with Him and yet in and out.... Ladies, such beautiful shares!!! So beautiful!!!! God Bless you both for being so real and raw and for sharing so openly! More and more and more and more Grace to you!.... Absolutely agree... Knowing Him for ourselves... Experiencing Him for ourselves! And thus knowing you!!! Process things with Him... I sooo agree!!!! My journey...my quests..my questions led me to knowing GOD vrs religion which is where I thought He was when I was looking for Him...and there is just nothing like God and His Love for us! It heals, it restores, it is patient, it sees us how He sees us and calls us, and not how we or others see us and also not how we are in the many times present mess of ourselves in our quest for finding answers.... And then it beautifies!!!!! He beautifies us!!!! Later upon layer...a perfection is ongoing.. internally, even when sometimes externally it may seemingly look like things are going off... This was so so so sooooo lovely! Aaaahhh so good!!! Such a Beautiful episode! (And funny!! 😅) So so sooooo Good! To God be all the Glory!!! - and 💯 about "Has God told you" to being the way to live and be...in everything!!! Living by God's every word!! I love it for us!!!
