Yes it was Rugby League season that included our foundation clubs in their identity; Eastern Suburbs Roosters South Sydney Rabbitohs North Sydney Bears Western Suburbs Magpies Balmain Tigers Newtown Jets we’re forced out in 84. The was no Super League and forcing of players idea of Ruby League. At that time Rugby League was already considering expansion and with the clubs that existed in NSWRL.

To watch this in this day and age, when so many singers won’t get near a stage without their background dancers, special effects and more, and yet there she stood, singing her heart out to crowd that absolutely loved it. NRL never achieved any form of 'global' relevance and never will due to the limitations imposed by its provincial fan base but this ad campaign was undeniably a great success with such a star albeit one which was never capitalised upon.

It is visible in several moments. Like (4:33). Moreover, it is often done like this on similar occasions. Because sounding a huge stadium with good quality for one song is unnecessarily demanding and expensive. Moreover, only a music expert will notice it. yeh & the audio's actually pretty crappy for the video, such as the helicopter noise in the background at the start & song being lip synced, so I suspect the actual volume of the crowd was probably a lot stronger than the video shows & if this was a modern recording we'd probably be really blown away by the crowd volume singing along

I am still weeping with loss and I came across this video - a copy of which I've watched so many times here on KZbin. You make it so obvious in this video that you and Australia did enjoy this FINE gift that came out of Tennessee.
