Rellana was easy for me, I beat her in like 8 attempts, granted I'm almost level 250 with a glass cannon 40 vigor faith build and used mimic tear, but still. Messmer however? god damn. Mimic tear can't even get close, or dies before doing anything. I have to stack 4 buff spells to even have a chance, and it's the third boss in the game I've used a shield for other than Margit right at the beginning and Elden Beast at the end.

i think he kept getting folded because he didn't have a Great Rune active and hardly any armor. Vigor didn't look like it was at 60 as well

Don't lock on to targets in boss fights, also find out a way to break the combo with high poise attacks (If u don't lock on, their mechanics become messed up and your side movement becomes much faster,they miss you often,you couldn't do a single waterfowl dance🤦
