My wife searches high and low for these to help her sleep, I’ll forward it along. 😊

Thanks Rob! Did you try the experiment in the description? The video is trying to recreate what I see when I close my eyes after watching this for a minute or two. It works best if there isn't too much ambient light.

Your statement, Colin, seems to suggest a deeply personal and introspective audiovisual experience. The video serves as a mere starting point, a catalyst that stimulates the imagination and fosters a more intimate connection with the music. The black screen and fades create a dark and suggestive atmosphere, inviting the viewer to project their fears, dreams, or memories onto the empty background. Closing your eyes, moreover, makes the experience even more immersive, focusing attention exclusively on sound and internal sensations. Although the video stimulates both sight and hearing, the invitation to close your eyes suggests that the musical experience is destined to involve other senses as well, such as the perception of space or time. By closing your eyes after watching the video, one might induce a kind of auditory hallucination or internal sound experience, where the music comes to life in our minds, creating images or sounds that transcend what we see on the screen. There may be a deliberate contrast between the digital visual experience of the video and the more "analog" auditory experience that is created in the mind when you close your eyes. This could highlight the more intimate and personal aspect of musical perception. Alternatively, and in conclusion, it could be an invitation to use visualization techniques to create your own mental images based on the music. In any case, I must admit that once again you have demonstrated an extraordinary intuition!

Thanks Marco! The idea I had with the suggestion of closing your eyes was to try and blend the video with reality. I don't know if it is just my eyes (but I assume it is universal) but the image you have been looking at stays in your retinas for a while, so if you close your eyes the image you see is similar to the video. Mostly dark red with some pale green/blue floating blobs. This works best if you cover your eyes too if there is bright ambient light. The digital/analog aspect comes from the digital image from the screen and the analog image from your eyes. It will be interesting to see if it works for others like it does for me. The video is very close to what I see with my eyes closed.

@@ccjmusic I find your experiment brilliant. A short while ago, I configured my Eurorack to create a generative atmosphere and fell asleep while listening to the result. My wife woke me up because it was time for dinner. Unfortunately, as often happens, I didn't record the audio. I hope to be able to recreate something similar and record it, but I know it will be difficult. However, sincere congratulations. Now I fully understand the meaning of your work and tomorrow, with more calm and serenity, I will listen to your creation again, keeping your instructions in mind.

@@IntraMoeniaArt Thanks Marco! I was having fun with my experiment even though it made the video seem dark and boring. If your Eurorack is still patched then you should be able to record is still. It may not be exactly the same but should be pretty close. I have got in the habit of always adding a record module in VCV Rack and recording what I do every time. I hope you are able to recreate it again.

@@ccjmusic I really hope so. I'm not feeling very well today, it's one of those days when my illness hits hard, but I'll try to go to the studio anyway and see what happens.

@@IntraMoeniaArt I'm sorry to hear that Marco! I hope things improve for you again really soon.
