When I went thru my darkest days, this song inspired me to hang on. And now I am living my best days. I love this song.

This song has saved me from suicide more than once. My life has been incredibly hard and there ARE times I just want it to stop, even now but I have also learned I have a purpose here. Idon't know what that is but I do know, every day is a new start and I AM the only one who creates WHAT KIND of day it will be. It's not the situation, it's how I respond to it that's important. So, I hang on

I recently went through some tough times and this song is a good one to help put things in perspective and to remember that all of us human beings are struggling in some way through life.....stay strong people. P.S.calling this an “Anthem” for people hurting or desperate was perfect 🤩👍

This is the most important song that addresses depression and mental health I think that has ever been written. It says without ever having to say the words; it gets better. When you think it can’t get any worse and you’re at your lowest point, when you think you’re so very alone - you are not alone and it can only get better - just hold on. It’s the purest form of love.

21,474 views and no likes? Come on, guys! First like. Good song to cry to. It just makes you wish you could turn back time and love your children better. It’s just not fair that you only get it after they’re grown, don’t cry for you to hold them anymore and don’t need you to protect them now. It hurts so bad. Thank you for reacting to this song.

We put so much pressure on ourselves and each other to always be happy and upbeat that it can cause embarrassment, even guilt at being sad, depressed or anxious. This is a reassuring song, deceptively simple. We need to know it's ok to be sad sometimes. It's ok to cry. You're not the only one who feels like that, so reach out for comfort. You're not alone, don't lose yourself in the pain. I know many people, including myself, who need to hear that now and then.

Very deep to dive into. Good for you! This is their deepest most emotional song. God Bless all the sad lost souls the world! I pray you will come to understand the meaning of your life and will stick around to bless us all with it! We are all special. Unique. Valued. Even though we don't feel like it sometimes. Don't give up ... the sun will shine upon you ...HOLD ON!

Wow what a great song and even better message, I love to see talented performers who have a platform that can reach people use it for such a good cause!! It is a shame more of them don't do it when you consider the impact that they have especially on people and can have on those people in trouble. A song every person who is troubled needs to not only listen to but that heart in!!

I love these two, you want a true reaction to any song that you like or even dislike? Get these to the plate cuz you will have a honest-to-goodness true reaction, something that I just caught in this reaction, and I watch their reactions quite often, they can both have their eyes closed and one will open their eyes and look at the other end the other one automatically fills in or look straight up the other person, they are that connected I love these two degree good job

Thanx for your reaction. To put it very bluntly and it's gonna sound nasty, BUT being an old fart.... really... we used to have an expression/ saying... "life's a bitch and then ya die". I honestly believe that life throws lotsa curves at ya and in our very, very pretty good life and place to live, as you guys kinda alluded to, I can get very real and say "YO DUDES and DUDETTES! Today's a bummer, hang tight, hang on, tomorrow's gonna be better! Throwing in the towel/ jumpin' off the bridge is no answer! Ya'd have a better time hangin' around and proving to those that are hurtin' ya that- guess what?!?!?:.... they were wrong! You're her and gonna stay here and by God find a way to get happy! Hang On! Oh BTW, thnnx for your reaction video again. .

What I remember most about this song was when it won Best Video at the MTV Video Awards. The late Adam Yauch (MCA from Beastie Boys), decked out with a fake beard and lederhosen, stormed the stage in protest, because the video for this song beat the video for the Beastie song Sabotage. I actually think Sabotage was the better video, with its vastly amusing, tongue-in-cheek 70s cop thriller stylings, and it was kind of funny seeing Michael Stipes dumbstruck by the intrusion on the stage. But Everybody Hurts really is a great song that hits a lot of relatable beats and touches you deeply, if you're not too cynical to let it.
