@Panzerkampfwagen VI Spoliers Nah arc 4 was just season 2. Arc 5 is the battle arc at Pristilla with all the sin archbishops. Arc 6 is where they go to Pleiades Tower. At the end of the arc Subaru, Rem, and Louis get transported to Vollachia by a black shadow and she wakes up. So Rem would come back at the end of season 4. In other words she isn’t coming back for a while.

On a serious note, all the struggles Subaru went through up to now was for Emilia...way before we got to know Rem for who she truly is. I'd find it incredibly unrealistic if he just changed his feelings all of a sudden and went for Rem... especially when Rem killing him off a bunch of times is something of the past that obviously just can't be forgotten. Nonetheless, that's not how *love* works. I hate how people cancel Subaru solely for rejecting Rem and how others only continued watching the series for Rem. The beauty of this is still captivating and makes me feel an incredible emotion I couldn't begin to describe. Meh, "fanatical like a demon" sounds really cool to me. It rolls off the tongue better than "demonically inspired." What throws off my flow is the latter half of "demonically." Just meh. And "inspired" doesn't quite fit the image of hyped up to defy fate and gods. It is also too "heroic." Subaru is a subversion of classic, unbeatable heroes. He just has crazy, chaotic energy. And you have to be crazy to step into Subaru's shoes. "Fanatical like a demon" has the right energy.
