I would say gaster for a good reason. Since he's not only smart but he can cross through dimensions and since he is scattered across space and time along with being trapped in limbo he can't die from normal means just like nightmare so they would be at a stand off.

Though Ink seems like a good choice I feel like W.D. Gaster would probably be more help then Ink, since he’s smarter he could probably analyze nightmares abilities and weaknesses, it’s a stalemate down right risky choice but I personally think Gaster would work

Now thinking of the odds here properly... Ink is the best survival option and Gaster is the more anonymous one who will most likely get you out alive, but probably not for free knowing Undertale- Fatal is just gambling. Just pray Fatal doesn't go into Sleep Mode from another Error entity... I'd choose Fatal because due to the known power of Fatal, he would most likely have Nightmare retreat as it would be a waste of time and a near impossible effort to overpower alone. Just make sure to not be in the crossfire as Fatal don't give a damn if he kills you in the act.

Fatal Error has a high chance of getting mad so I wont risk it. Gaster is just going to dip he does not even exist. Ink can take me to a non negative dimension which guarantees survival as nightmare cant travel in more positive dimensions and also Ink would make a great friend during travel, even if he can get careless if you just quickly get him to teleport to another dimension and stay close to him or get him to stay a bit put you should be fine.

I would choose Ink. Although he can not be trusted and does not truly care about anyone and anything due to being soulless and his awareness, he has a job to do. And his job means a lot to him, if us being attacked by Nightmare is not supposed to happen, he will protect us without a doubt. (Otherwise, he will watch us getting ripped by Nightmare with pleasure, and would thus become the *worst* choice out of all of them because he will make sure it happens.) Whether he wins against Nightmare or not would not matter as he just needs to get you out of danger, and considering who he is, I believe he can do such a thing effortlessly. I would not choose Fatal!Error due to him being unstable. I do not see the point of him helping us, aside from being his next victim for his collect of codes once he is done with Nightmare. I would not choose Gaster, due to ending up most likely as his next new experiment. Also, we can not truly define his true power and intentions due to lack of information, so I would rather not test my luck, but if you want to, à votre aise.
