Billie Eilish has finally released her new album 'Happier Than Ever'! This new Billie Eilish album, Happier Than Ever, has many interesting production techniques that makes you realise Billie is ever developing her style with her brother Finneas. Finneas producing on these tracks always brings something new. As always Billie impresses with her amazing vocals.
This is our NINTH Remake of this brand new album, that we have challenged ourselves to remake in Logic Pro!
In this video we break down the most important production in GOLDWING using Logic Pro. I will show you how to use battery 4 for drums, how to record vocal harmonies, how to sample vocals using the Logic Pro Quick Sampler, how to pan instruments, how to record sub bass with the ES1 Synth, how to use distortion on bass, and how to double and layer up multiple vocals.
To make this remake more of a challenge, let's try and do it in ONE HOUR! And then I'll try my best to sing the Lead Vocal of Goldwing LIVE!

Absolutely in love with the choir, I wonder how you know what notes to do with each takes. I would love to create something like this but I don't know what notes I should do for each takes, I end up doing the same notes in a different tone. Did he basically dissect the chords and sung them separately or it requires complex music theory ideas that I have no clue about.

My guess would be they put the chord progression together, and then sang it one line at a time! Learning chords definitely would help with writing stuff like this 🙌

I just started using Logic. I have NI Kontrol and Kontakt. I have no experience with the interfaces, terms and setup. Do you have any videos or recommend anyone's videos on how to set everything up and learn how to put songs together like you are doing? Those are super pieces of kit Brian! I'm not sure about set up videos, that would be very worth looking into. As for zoom sessions, I do run monthly lessons through my patreon currently if you wanted to check that out. That's so great to hear Rudrangshu, thank you! That's a great question, I'll make a video to help if you'd like? 🙌 But one tip I usually find that helps is looping the chords you're trying to write over, and hum random melodies until you find one you like. You could even record them all and go back over them to see if you found any you like! Be sure to change rhythms and melody, you'll find something you like for sure

the first chord you sing in the song is actually an inverted dominant 7 in the original! (The 7th is in the bass) so it's not a minor chord (not a criticism, just a note)

Oh you can! Click "CC" just at the bottom of the video to turn on subtitles. Then click the Settings Gear, select subtitles, select whatever language is available there. Click into the Settings Gear again and you can scroll down and select Korean! Hope this helps 🙌
