Oh man the music makes me laugh and smile, but at the same time it's actually really good & I LOVE IT. It gives off such a fun, poppin' & chill vibe & I'm here for it. Also kudos for the patience and skill it takes to redraw on a doodle grid.. my gosh. That piece turned out flippin' amazing. I can't imagine all the work & time that goes into these videos lol. I discovered your channel a couple months ago, and I'm being honest when I say it's been a life-changer. I'm in my late 40's and took figure drawing classes years ago so I have some skill. I've always loved to sketch and doodle and during the virus, I've dedicated more time to it. I have always wanted to do murals! Here in Nashville, there are some epic murals. So... I found your channel and it inspired me to get all the old drawings out, refill my artist toolbox, and start practicing with a purpose again. I work at it now in my free time (I work in the medical field and have still been working) I have projects I now want to work at, develop my rusty skills, and put it all on paper. Imho, the best way to see your own improvements is to put a date on each artwork you make. I've had a couple times when I found an "old" painting, thinking how I got better since then, just to realize that I did it only 1 month ago and liked the outcome back then. Sometimes it feels like it takes years to get better, but when you have dates on your works, you realize it's a lot faster than it feels.

The longer you keep your old paintings, the more you see progress. I don't know how many canvases I've re painted over because I felt it wasn't good enough, that's the power of art you'll foreverly be improving and most likely will never be mastered.
