Remapped My Lexus LS430 - How Does it Drive?

A review of the remap I have had done to my Lexus LS430 ECU by Phoenix Engine Management.
The mapping is also available for other 3UZ-FE engined cars, such as the GS430, SC430, UCF30 Celsior, and some generations of Toyota Crown
The map can give you (you can pick which parts you want):
- Increased shift speed of gear changes
- Increased power
- Quicker throttle response
- Increased rev limiter RPM
- Removal of secondary lambda sensor trouble codes (allows for de-cat)
- Removal of EVAP trouble codes
- Removal of speed limiter
- Removal of immobiliser
- Optional "Pops and bangs"/"crackle tune" map
- Optional automatic transmission software removal for manual swapped cars

No change that I have been able to see yet to MPG. I am doing a 300 mile journey next week so I'll know more after that.

In my experience if you don’t go crazy with the gas pedal you can get 16/17 mpg

did you have the transmission switch on normal or power? by switching between these two modes there is a substantial change in shifting points . I like driving mine on power making the car feel more powerful . I wonder doing the remapping if these two positions will be affected.

Yes I should have mentioned in the video, all this was filmed in Normal mode. I am going to do a follow-up video in a few weeks about Sport mode (and maybe a little about Snow mode but I doubt many people worry about that). It is claimed that the map is also updated in Sport mode so I will test this.

Mine's a late 2000 registered car (in Europe we got them quite early, known as "2001 model year" in North America), but the remap is available for all year LS430s
