Remarkable 1,300 Year Old Relics from Eucharistic Miracle in Lanciano | EWTN News Nightly

There are a number of Eucharistic miracles throughout the world, but the one in the Italian town of Lanciano may be the most remarkable one. The 1,300 year old relics made of human heart muscle and blood are still preserved to this day for the faithful to behold. It is the first recorded Eucharistic miracle and occurred in Lanciano in the 8th century, when a monk who doubted the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, celebrated Mass. Br. Santino Verna, OMC Custodian of the relic says, "The Host turned into a part of the left ventricle, which is a part of human body essential for the heart's function. This part of the myocardial tissue was both aching and bleeding. The wine then transformed into human blood and within a few moments changed from a liquid to a solid state, into five coagulated blood drops." EWTN Vatican Journalist Paola Arriaza has more.

The Eucharist is so very beautiful in how we are Healed in Christ's Forgiveness. Dear Lord Jesus, pray to our Father in Heaven, that you provide discerment in forgiveness. Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive each other. James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed Mark 11: 24-25 further elaborates: therefore , i tell you whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in Heaven may forgive you. We must confess our sins as we offer alms in our penance. The Eucharist is the Healing Body and Blood of Christ given for the remission of our sins as we are healed in the Holy Spirit., ❤

Scientific studies proved the Blessed Eucharist is LIVE human heart tissue from the left ventricle (responsible for pumping blood and life through our bodies).
