I think UAE have a big problem. It does not seem that Almeida and Soler are in any way on the same page. It looks more like Ameida was afraid he was going to lose spot 3 to his teammate. What Adam Yates is doing is beyond me. I hope his form will increase so he is able to put his stamp on the team and both Almeida and Soler just fall into line. This must be just annoying for Adam. To not be able to do that already. And somebody needs to tell Remco that there is such a thing as team tactics in cycling and that that is more than just burning through your team till the last steep part. That worked with US Postal and Sky, but those days are over. And you can win with that tactic when you are racing under 23 but not at the pros, remember the European Championships when his companion said thank you for pulling for me all the way to the finish? It makes for exciting racing but you will not win a lot.

Very good start to the year for Roglic. This new rivalry between him and Remco is a fantastic companion to Pog vs Jonas. My take for the Giro is that Remco's aggressive approach will eventually catch Rog off guard, and will gain some time on him. He's just too dynamic and powerful for Roglic to just play defense for 3 weeks. I think Remco will also take time in the time trial.
