Remedies for cracked heels

Cracked heels can occur due to:
• Ageing skin
• Walking bare feet
• Long hours spent standing either at work or at home especially if the floor is hard or while commuting in a bus or a crowded train
• Improper footwear such as open backed sandals, high heeled shoes, and flip flops
• Obesity or even pregnancy, which can increase the pressure on the heels, leading to cracks
• Repeated trauma to the feet" Diabetes, arthritis, psoriasis, and fungal infections such as athlete's foot.
• Improper foot posture and gait
• Poor foot care
• Dry feet
• Excessive exposure to water, soaps and detergents
• Lack of iron, calcium, Vitamin E, Omega-3 fatty acids, and zinc
How can one take care of cracked feet?
• Try home pedicure once a week (as shown in the reel)
• Avoid walking bare foot
• Wear soft, cushioned shoes
• Do not wear sandals with an open back
• Do not wear high-heeled sandals
• Avoid soaking your feet in water frequently
• Avoid peeling the skin over the cracks aggressively
• If obese, reduce weight
• Have supplements of Iron, Zinc, Vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids
• Moisturiser your feet (you can also use coconut oil, olive oil or almond oil instead of moisturiser)
Pls consult dermatologist if it gets painful or starts to bleed for proper treatment.

I would say, aply a thick layer of cream with a decent ammount of urea in it then wrap your feet with a saran wrap and then wear the sock overnight.

Fuzzy socks! Cotton socks are the worst, I slather on aquafor and always wear fuzzy socks. It locks in the moisture and doesn’t dry my feet out. I’m telling you, night and day difference.

Tbh, they actually helped me , I had dry skin through genetics, but as time passed my feet got very dry and hard , then I started applying thick Moisturizer or any oil( i mostly used coconut oil ) and wore cotton socks, I applied Moisturizer as soon as my feet felt dry for a few days until my feet felt better, then I applied Moisturizer 4 times a day I also stopped walking barefoot at home and I always wore slippers or socks I started drinking 3 liters a day and kept my body hydrated And now my feet are so much better, idk if it'll work for everyone

Берешь воду смешиваель с уксусом 9%,. 1литр 2ст ложки.намачиваешь полотенцеобматываешь ноги, сверху пакет и ложишься, наутро мёртвая кожа на пятках становиться белой, опускаешь в тазик с тёплой водой и спокойно без трения снимаешь мёртвую кожу шпателем или шкребеом

the most common and efficient way is to wash them with very warm water dry them and apply vasseline, then wrap them in plastic bags then wear socks over them
