I would say 60s through 90s. Early 2000s had some good stuff. Not that there isn’t good music today but the soul of it all is kind of gone. Everything is calculated. You don’t know who writes their own music and who doesn’t. It’s hard to tell who is actually a true artist and who is just a performer dressed up as an artist.
