Not Bad for the first video dude! Now, although I like the video, I don´t have that belief that Rayman in Sparks of Hope is something "insulting" but rather as a "tribute" to him. Like, they are putting the character that put them on the map in the map in the first place. It´s like if I became a Big KZbinr and decided to make a film, but I put one of my best friends as one of the Lead Actors. Also, this is the perfect chance for him to come back and show Ubisoft that Rayman is still cared for!

@@NilsTFK the only real time i see a company release their game engine is if they see it would benefit them in some way. valve did it because they viewed modding positively and it worked for them. counter strike was originally a mod. while epic seems to have done it so there would be a higher chance of a game being made that would make them profit solely by not modding. ubisoft however seems to view releasing their engine as detrimental to them making money. which is pretty damn stupid but company's dont usually release their engine unless they view it as having a positive outcome.

Rayman 2 was an absolute maserpiece of a game. We NEED another 3D Rayman game, in the vein of the 2nd and 3rd games, that would ABSOLUTELY bring a much-needed breath of fresh air for the franchise.

Honestly, most people in the Rayman community (myself included) are really excited for and happy about Rayman in Sparks of Hope. Like it was pointed out, dude hasn't been in a real proper game in 8 years, this is a real proper game, a very big SUCCESSFUL game, AND there's a high chance he might get to MEET MARIO, that's pretty big for any game character! The director also outright stated that if the DLC does well, it could be a sign to Ubisoft to bring back the limbless lad properly. I know it's annoying for all these companies to "test the waters" with remakes and remasters and cameos, but I get why they do it. I genuinely believe this is a good thing for Rayman, and I believe the DLC will do great due to the nature of the game's sales and the console sales. I COMPLETELY understand how you feel, I promise I do, but try not to view this as a spit in the face, view it as... a Spark of Hope? Eeeh, I'll go home now. Good video though!

I'm saving up money for a Switch and this game in specific. If we show enough love to the Rayman DLC then Ubisoft will actually have a reason to consider Rayman over a 3rd Assassin's Creed the same year

I honestly think the reason there wasn’t an attempt at another true Rayman game is because Ubisoft were just way too lazy to craft another one Part of the series staple is that every game looks completely different from one another(even Origins and Legends have different art styles) so they probably didn’t want to pour money on something like that because they didn’t need it(although I’m sure they wish they did that now)

I thought Rayman Adventures in 2015 was good, even if that was on the mobile too, it felt like more of a platformer game than Rayman mini. Also, rabbids did appear in that game for Easter, that you find and since they're causing trouble again you can beat them like all your enemies. I also find it ironic that he appears in a game with the same creatures that gave him trouble in the past, but who knows. Maybe things will be different this time. I mean, he'll be working with rabbids who aren't actually evil, unlike the ones in the first 3 games back in like 2006-2009. These rabbids did help Mario, so hopefully they'll get along with Rayman, and they can be heroes together. I myself love the idea of them being friends. I even have a few rabbid ocs who are close friends with him. Also, I heard they were making a new Rayman cartoon, but I haven't heard anything about it lately or when it's release date was suppose to be. I would love a cartoon with him, Globox and Barbara, along with Murfy, Ly and the nymphs, and they have to deal with all their enemies they've dealt with from past games, even rabbids appearing, as enemies or allies would be cool. Seems unlikely but who knows.

I think with him being as a playable character In the Mario plus rabbits dlc there might be a possibility he could pack it he gets enough love from the fans that grew up playing his games, spending countless upon hours into his games, but As Of now the only games he got the resemble Raymen are origins thats cause I personally think that that kept well to a formula that has been relevant for over a decade on, sure we might have got a bad game hear or there Raving rabbits comes to mind, but that wasn't a Raymen game no it was more like a collection of minigames is was terrible,, But things were looking up for him if origins and legends they were the most creative games to come out of the series in some time, That all I wanted to say Have a good day take care, An to spread the world how they are treating the limbless wounder Because I believe if more people play the dlc that will inspire the creators to bring Raymen back from this very long coma of nothingness

I kinda like Legends but I agree Origins is overrated. I'm glad Betilla was back and her sisters were introduced, but they didn't need to be over sexualized. I'm not a fan of most rabbids games. The only games I like are the gba game and the Mario & Rabbids series. Sparks of hope was great and I loved the 3rd dlc with Rayman. He seemed more himself from Rayman 2. Rayman 2 was awesome and I hope for another Rayman game like it.

Personally, I think Ubisoft just doesn't know what they wanna do with him. Rayman Legends was incredibly ambitious for the series; expanding upon a new style, bringing in some HUGE ideas, etc. My best case scenario is they wanna incorporate that style into 3D, but aren't sure what to do. It's wishful thinking, but it gives me peace of mind
