Wtf.. no he doesnt!! That's the entire point of his character and why in this short the fact that he always plays god backfires on him. Even before he went all avengers assemble and was just a normal human with no space wizards and gods as friends he viewed himself as a god and that never ever went away. The Core of his character is that he never learns his lesson. He says he does and briefly acts it but he always goes back to being this holier than thou prick. You're off your rocker if you really believe what you said about him.

You see, the "Smart and dumb" voices in his head aren't "Smart and Dumb". They are actually his "Voices of Reasoning".
