Yes, Jeff Healey was born with genetic mutations that caused a type of childhood cancer, Retinoblastoma which meant having his eyes removed to stop the cancer from spreading leaving him 100% blind. to my know;edge He had no memory of ever having vision. He was fitted with ocular prosthetics aka glass eyes, but like a lot of these kids the cancer returned later in life with a vengence and killed him. Unfortunately, he passed his genetic mutations on to his son. but was treated asap and apparently has normal vision and health but will need to be monitored his entire life like his father I know this because I'm (mdvi ) multi disabled visually impaired and lost a few childhood friends to the demon that is retinoblastoma p.s.and unlike most people these I don't lie to myself and to society by saying no I'm not Disabled or handicapped I'm just different! whilst I go cash my disability check and require large print or Uncontracted braille books not to mention having to have someone drive me everywhere I can'r drive and I'll never be as independent as my peers BUT I'm not handicapped just like Jeff. sorry just I get tired of the hypocrisy

I’m going to take the thumbs down as a tribute to his physical approach to playing the guitar and providing us with his the beautiful music he gave us! There is no other logic reason. He put his heart out every time he pleased us with his music! If you can’t feel this deep in your heart you might have to check your pulse to see if you still have one! Thank you Jeff
