i want to cry. i know of the wallenda name because of you karl. Much love to the wallenda family. I lost my brother to a freak accident and I can only empathize with you and see how his passing has inspired you.

I saw Karl fall in 1978 on the U.K. news I was 15 and next day at school I was thinking about it ,and from then tried to find information on Karl ( no internet then) and the Wallendas. Out of his death came my love of the Wallendas . R.I.P KARL .

Grew up just down the street at the other end of Arlington. Mario and I were pals as kids. Great memories. Karl tried to get me on "the wire" when I was a kid. NOT for me! However, I played lead trombone for the Ringling Shows (Venice premiers) from 1967-1972. Wonderful memories of ALL the circus kids I grew up with and went to school with........(Me? SHS 1961).......
