Fantastic job Dave. Like yourself I only saw them in person once. But with that being said. I was a fan and I enjoyed it. Excellent memories on your part if I may say so myself. I saw them at Axis on Lansdowne St in Boston. My co-worker was Kurt Davis {aka Yuppi Gipe} who played with Bullet LaVolta. They were one of the bands playing that night. Also on the bill was Cliffs of Dooneen {opener}, Smashing Pumpkins, Bullet L and Nirvana. I remember Nirvana going on about 12:30 pm. I cannot believe it has been thirty years either. Wow. Seems like yesterday~ Rob/Boston

Wow, you really got into Nirvana on the ground floor! Id never seen some of the stuff you showed. Im guilty of only discovering Nirvana through MTV and i did get to see them once. Unfortunately, it was their final show, which i describe in my recent video. Youre right about the number of people wearing Nirvana T-shirts. I see them everywhere and what surprises me is 95% of the time a person of color is wearing it. Back in the day it seemed like their fans were mostly white. I loved your stories about seeing Kurt around Seattle. I can just hear him saying, "My record company doesnt give me anything." He has been gone longer than he was here.

Great video. I've never seen a lot of those records. That Burroughs/Cobain 10 inch looks interesting. Did you ever watch the documentary Montage of Heck? Talk about and invasion of privacy.

I saw it once when it came out. Then I watched some interview with Buzz Osborne of the Melvins who said the whole thing was misleading bullshit. So, I don't know.

One reason I admire Kurt so much is he loved the bands I also love like The BMX Bandits, The Vaselines, Sebadoh, Daniel Johnston, Marine Girls, Young Marble Giants, Teenage Fanclub, Beat Happening, & Pixies. I wonder if he listened to The Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine or The Jesus Mary Chain. Guess we will never know

Nice to see someone who really cares. Yep. Along with the Sex Pistols, Nirvana did change the lock of modern music. Heil Kurt Cobain
