I might not have agreed with this war ( but that had nothing to do with allied troops but leaders of different countries at the time) but I wonder if these troops were forewarned about the danger but refused to leave their posts anyway. Someone has to be at the gate and check off papers from Afghans that had worked with foreign troops to get them through. This is one of the most heroic things I have seen in any war............I hope they are honered by their families being presented with a purple heart medal in dedication to these soldiers.

The reporter (Stacy Butler) says a GoFundMe page was started for Dylan Merola to help her single mother pay for funeral expenses. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think funeral expenses are covered by DoD for service members who die while on active duty. In fact, the designated survivor beneficiary should be receiving $100K thru the Death Gratuity program soon after the next of kin is notified. In any case, my sincere condolences to the families of these brave soldiers. RIP.
