Louis was incredible in Officer and a Gentleman. He looked seriously fit, immaculate and smart thinking too. I think this was his best. Richard was the Officer and Louis was the Gentleman. What a great film and a favourite of mine. Richard was wonderful too. Louis was also great in The Deep. That is also a great movie with Robert Shaw. The 3 of them were impeccable in their movies. Very sad that such a lovely person has passed. Stevie in Scotland.

Amazing actor. My personal favorite film with Gossett was ENEMY MINE. That should be re-released, I've never met another person who had watched it.

I loved him on film. He had a presence about him, a confidence in who he was. Now I know its feom years of practice. Those were some major roles he played.
