I was 12 years old and lived in Ogden and I vividly remember how sick everyone was about what had happened. I still remember to this very day how bad I felt for the victims.

I remember hearing the details about the time one of them was executed. Hearing about making them drink Drano and them shoving a pen into their ears still gives me chills

When I read a book on this case almost 40 years ago I cried so much, my Mom hid the book from me. All the way in South Africa

I was two years old. We weren't MORMONS. We were Catholics. We were from Ohio. The MORMONS never messed, with any in our family. And we never messed, with any UTAH families.
