Wodeyar ruled mysore for namesake. Dewan poornaiha was able administrator. After 1806, revolts happened in malnad region. The farmers revvolted because of huge land revenue otherwise ur mysore maharaja could not maintain british army and annual kappa kanikke or tribute. THATS WHY YOUR SO CALLED PUPPET MAHARAJA WAS DETHRONED. IN 1830 TO 1882.UPTO 1830 HOW MANY FARMERS WERE HANGED. A GOOD REASON FOR BRITIISH TO. DECLARE AS INEFFICIIENT, INCAPABLE.
