I loved this game. One of the best multiplayer games of all time. I played about 6500 matches and never got bored of it until people started leaving for games on newer consoles. Wish they would release it on PC. I'm sure lots of people would play it.

This game was so addictive... I loved playing this game for hours. Playing with people all over the world. You could drive, fly, or jump on the jeep. It was thr best in my opinion. It was so underrated... I haven't found any game that gets close to this.

Such a blast from the past. I remember spending hours with my friends in custom games practicing shooting moving planes out of the sky with tanks or sniping jeeps on the move from as far as you could render. By the end of our time playing we had gotten fairly consistent at those two things. It truly was an awesome multi player third person shooter for its time. RIP my childhood.

Still remember buying this game in 2008, my friend was sleeping over and we didn't sleep the whole night. And the game had awesome spilt screen so you and your friend could play CTF on the same tv, while one was driving the jeep and one shooting down the other team.

Mystic It has one of the best splitscreens for online you just jump into a match and if there is spaces and the server allow it someone can just grab a controller (or three) and instantly jump in.

This was the reason I bought a PS3 in the first place back in 2008. It was the second game I owned after Motorstorm which came with my system, a nice backwards compatible fat model with chrome trim and a colorful PS logo that could be spun to suit a vertical or horizontal setup. It was with a heavy heart that I finally sold Warhawk in 2014 after sinking hundreds of hours into it, as the online had shrunk immensely from it's original glory days. All that remained were a few servers of capture the flag on the small version of the map archipelago, the one shown in the video. Sadly, I would no longer recommend it to newcomers or even curious old fans. A gaming tragedy!

I don't understand why people were so hard on star hawk. Sure the single play was not very good and kind of unnecessary, and the base building ability had certain limitations, but otherwise it was a well-designed game. The vehicles for example were solid, and you could really diversify your gameplay. I played it a bunch and only then realised that group consensus was that it sucked.

Attention Warhawk lovers, we can still play after Sony pulled the plug! In case you haven’t heard, there’s an EASY way to play Warhawk over the internet, through a new application called *Warhawk Reborn*. (much easier than XLink Kai) WR is a Warhawk only 'discovery app' that runs on Android, Windows, and Linux. I call it a discovery app, because as it turns out, Warhawk's Local Games mode is nearly ready to play over the internet. All it needs is a little help finding other consoles that are hosting. Background- WR's developer realized that Warhawk doesn't need the complicated VPN environment that XLink Kai provides. So he figured out a much simpler way... brilliant! The good news is, with WR no PS3 networking changes are required. That means digital copies of Warhawk will run without any hiccups because, unlike with XLink, you are connected to PSN/internet like normal. MY GOSH, IS IT REALLY THIS SIMPLE TO USE? YES. Run Warhawk Reborn just prior to selecting Join Game on the LAN Home Page, then repeatedly press Refresh (green triangle on controller). You will see a list of hosts. *on Android, the app idles out, so whenever you want to see the host list again, make sure WR is running (green checkmark) BEFORE pressing Refresh. Once you join a host, WR is no longer needed. That's it! (PS3 & WR device must be connected to the same internet connection) Note- I continue to run XLink in order to join Davus' awesome group each week on Sat & Sun at 9am, and Tue at 9pm Eastern. Now that I've tested Warhawk Reborn for a week, my bet is eventually ALL Warhawk players will end up using it. A big thanks to the amazing developer, Dominik Thalhammer, for creating this super easy method for us to continue enjoying Warhawk. Features of WR Android App: shows a live list of active servers. Then for each server, shows statistics such as current: players, map, mode, time elapsed, etc. Note- you don't have to select a server to play, just run the app.. server selection is for stats only. Greatest gaming experience of my life. I put over 2000 hours in and made it into the top 10 in the world at TDM for awhile til I was bumped to 14th after switching to CTF. o god times. Personally... warhawk was easily my favorite game on ps3. I was really good at air combat. Could fly in the air by my self with all the bases taken and still only die about 2 or 3 times. I think the problem with warhawk and the real reason it didnt get the attention it should have was because the learning curve. One of many unique things about warhawk was it was a game the you could pick up and play for a year straight and still fuckin suck at. It took me a solid two years to be good at air combat. There is no other game like that. Most games you can play for a day or two and learn the controls to be able to hold your own. not warhawk. you play warhawk for a day or two and try and go to a ranked capture the flag match.... unless you are on the winning team and camping at a base no one is at.. you will be dying at least every other minute lol. I could go on and on but man did I have some good times. Thumbs up if you remember markjayw. lol. Would switch to his team just to hear him going the fuck off lol.

This is probably my favourite game on PS3 despite Sony hardly giving it any support and tried to kill it by shutting down their servers. The game is so unforgiving to new players and even average players. At the same time, it's so rewarding to get a kill or capture the flag while being chased down by a Warhawk and every other weapon. Fantastic game. I wish they would remaster it for PS5.

I don't know about virtual reality, the game's no intended for an fps so I don't see how that'd work, but yes there's needs to be a remaster.

Glad to see someone coming back for a old times sake. I still play this game and I've been playing since 2009. By the way, there are actually a lot more servers. If you go to filters and tweak it a bit you will find at least 40 more servers. Great video man.

Everybody plays in Player Ranked Servers not Official Servers... Sony have taken down most of the good old Servers. There was a WarhawkDay on 22/2/2014 Where Dylan Jobe (The Creator of Warhawk) Backed Himself. I counted easily 1000 Players in Player Ranked Servers alone! Nice video btw, make more on Warhawk! :)

Alright 2023 and my brain thought about this game because I fuckin miss it! So I looked online about it, then decided to look on KZbin and this is the first video I selected. Now Destiny 1 and 2 are one of my favs along with Battlefields... Till this year now, Warhawk is still up there in my top 10 or top 5 best games ever.. I wish I could play this fuckin game right now. They need to bring it back!!!! I love seeing this vid, bring back memories.❤
