To my Somali brothers and sisters, i normally do not comment on KZbin videos. I want to personally share with you how much this woman has inspired me. Like most of us she fled Somalia due to the civil war and like most of us she was raised in a foreign country for most of her life. I came across her videos a few years back and she wanted to show a lost generation outside Somalia that their home wasn’t as bad as the media portrays. Because of her I became more interested in our land and because of her I grew to love my country. Now I sit here and write this, it brings me to tears knowing how much she could have done to unite our country. Brothers and sisters, we need to fight these extremists who have no care about who they kill and harm in the name of Allah. Most of us are practicing and peaceful Muslims who do not wish harm on anyone and anything. We need to educate our youth and give them opportunities so that their minds are not poisoned by these evil people. We also need to end all the “tribal” bullshit. Because if we stay divided, we will never unite. I will never forget her name Hodan Nalayeh. She has inspired me to do my part and fight this evil. Not to be a conspiracy theorist but it’s for a reason why we can’t unite and people who are almost always working on improving the condition are targeted. As long as we are kept busy with meaningless disputes amongst ourselves, our people and our country will remain exploitable. We have turned away from that which United the hearts: Islam. And the traumatized among us are even more unaware of their illness and wreak more havoc within our communities.
