Thad IS heavily influenced by Jaco (it's obvious), as are many people. However it's also obvious that he has his own style and his musical creativity is second to none in the gospel music industry. The man definitely deserves respect. End of story!

wow...the slander of thaddeus tribbet and the tribbets needs to stop. If you are not in a position to speak to him and rebuke him of any wrong you think he or they have done you need to silence yourself. We will answer to God. If you care so much for their position before God fast and pray and seek God on how to communicate that...slander/vilification is not of the Spirit...if you want to knock tribbet for being inspired by jaco knock on bassists who are inspired by james jamerson...be fair.

@solomonii0 Not to be mean sir go play in traffic and quit hating. Matter of fact go kick rocks with your bare feet. May Gawd shine graciously upon you. st of he was having fun and so what if he mimicked him when you add character to how you play that makes the hit that much more fun.

Looked up jaco...he's good...may very well have influenced Thad, but on a Kobe studied Jordan level...I wouldn't call thad a "knock off"...even Kobe still looks like Kobe as his Jordan admiration helplessly spills forth...but Thad got his own sound going...I'll check more vids though
@KareemByEar1Year12 жыл бұрын
Thad was influenced by Jaco? Cool, someone new to study...if he influenced Thad, he must have something to offer every musician...take back what the Devil stole!
