I watched a documentary about a ww1 newly arrived Canadian regiment made up of miners, who using their specialist skills broke through a heavily fortified German line to break a stalemate on the western front... It was extremely dangerous work. Their bravery was outstanding....

Respect to our Canadian friends ,my uncle Sargent pilot Dennis Carty who was English died along side his Canadian crew on board a Wellington RCAF Bison squadron Bochum raid his flight record just says aircraft failed to return radio contact lost . Friends from both sides of the ocean together forever
