Unlike any countries UK is preserving its history. Buildings cannot be renovated or put down if its listed. The background you are looking at is in Northampton which is a Town located in Midlands and 2 hours away from the City which is London. The occassion is Remembrance Day which commemorate the lives of the soldiers who fought for UK during the World War 1. Hope this information educates you a bit of World History.
