I got the light sword you recomended its hard use in pvp then i got the incantation its very effective on runners who try to heal but in any other circumstance its not that good over all both swords are a let down in this new swift step meta

I sort of cheesed him , took help from a fellow tarnished named raouf. Just kept my distance with the heavy shield on and occasionally plonked with my blasphemous. Got in on my third try.

Honestly DLC Radhan was only "fun" once I used a shield and got some help. I tried so many times to keep the same build I had throughout the _entirety_ of the game (dex) but dodging all of his attacks was a nightmare I eventually gave up on that lmao. At least the music is f/cking awesome though

They totally need to buff these rewards, considering it's taking some people over 100 tries. I'm on NG+6 and I spent at least 12 hours trying to figure out the build that worked, so the rewards were kind of a bummer. Thorns Bleed got the job done in NG+6 btw

Light of miquella is bugged. It's the best looking cosmetic spell . It's supposed to get buffs from The circlet of light by 10% & 15% from the dryleaf seal. It's missing 25% of it's optimal damage.

I thought the same exact thing, holy pillars of light in the skill move, but the sword is physical and magic. Shouldn't it have been holy on the sword instead??? Definitely odd for sure.

This weapon disappointed me. The final boss was insane and we get this as an award, should be more OP. It has intelligence scaling but deals holy damage? I’m not sure why it doesn’t deal both int and faith I feel like there aren’t enough int faith hybrid weapons. I also think it should be a stance based weapon rather then two separate ones. Overall the Lord version is better but it’s just decent. It also has quality scaling on a collosal weapon which is absurd. I think these should’ve been regular greatsword with an interesting and faith scaling while having a stance based ash of war instead of two weapons. Defintley would’ve been more op and felt more rewarding especially for higher level characters like my own. I loved the dlc but some of the weapon scaling choices they made confused me, like the arcane scaling on the meteoric greatsword.

I got him with a cross naginata with blood tax on it with swaddling cloth. Played hella aggressive going for lifesteal and swapped to a shield. Basically any time he did his full combo I used blood tax but i had to learn how to dodge the physical damage entirely since I had insane holy damage resist when I went in

Tbh the way I see it is use mausoleums on the boss remembrances that you don’t want to fight again in NG+. For example, I used it on Gaius’, because fuck that boar charge attack. So if you want to fight Consort Radahn again, don’t bother duplicating it.

Against big beefy bosses, like Fire Giant or Flame Golem I could see Light of Miquella absolutely fucking, like every bean hitting. Might be a nice spell in the toolbox for faith builds

The acient meteor UGS is by far the strongest weapon from the DLC so far. Moveset and weapon skill is a gamechanger if you like UGS.

what are you doing? You're sorta missing out on like. All the good damage buffs on the Light version. Swap out Carian for Godfrey Icon, Millicents for Ritual Sword (or Branch feather, or feather crucible for the backhop, or Magic Scorpion for extra magic damage) and either use double head turtle or something like Dragoncrest Greatshield. Unfortunately this type of skill doesn't exactly go well with the physick, so bloodsucking and Magic are probably your best bet. Unless the damage on the skill is holy and not magic, then swap out any of my magic stuff for Holy instead

If you’re planning to use incantations, then yes. Basically, this is what it boils down to - Strength for pure melee weapons, Dexterity for most boss/legendary weapons, Intellect for Sorceries (casted with a staff) and Faith for Incantations (casted with a seal). There’s a lot of strong incantations, so leaning into faith certainly isn’t a bad idea, but I’d probably suggest figuring out what you want to build into/use before pouring a bunch of levels into it. Oh, and we don’t talk about Arcane 🤭

Did you max them out? Unless the scadutree frags are actually raising the ATT number, I'm not too sure, my stats are in the vid and I'm currently in NG+2. Plus, I only use golden vow and flame, grant me strength to raise my ATT. 🤔

Whatever has the higher letter grading scales better. So both of these weapons have a C in STR/DEX and a D in INT at +10. Ngl, all 3 of those are pretty shit scaling - real benefits start at B or higher - but you will get more out of STR/DEX than INT.

hmmm, i've been getting a lot of comments saying the same thing. I am in NG+2, and the only thing I can think of is the scadutree fragments maybe boosting the attack power number? Also, I know this sounds like a dumb question to ask, but you have all attributes required for the weapons right? (which I'm sure you do). Other than that, I have no idea. 🤔

All three of them? Yes. you do need to duplicate the remembrance tho, whether it’s at wandering coliseums at the main map or stone coffin altars at the dlc map. You can duplicate it even if you already redeemed it.

The first Radhan sword is very strong from the base game, Radhan's new swords are ok... the damage from the weapon art with the force of gravity is very broken and much faster... You can see on my channel the biuld of Force and Intelligence!
