In bootcamp, we did rifle qualification which includes shooting at 500 yards with iron sights. I'd think with this rifle you might be able to shoot a bit farther out.

@S S: Absolutely! This bad boy is shooting sub MOA at 800yds w/ my Athlon BTR 6-24×50 FFP scope & 175gr BTHP Nosler. The UTG optic just can't range that far out. But, it's definitely a shooter! The only thing I hate is that I can't shoot it more often like I used to. This ammo shortage is b.s. 🤬. Thank you for your comment & viewership. But, most importantly thank you for your service. What would you attach to the side mounted pic rails? Excellent video btw, I learned a good amount. I actually just mounted my .30-06 700 ADL onto the Magpul Hunter stock today and I'm already impressed. I had molten plastic stuck to my barrel -that's how bad the original stock was. Can't wait to take it to the range.
