Hello, it's possible to replace the barrel without removing the bolt correct?

My Dad gifted me a 7400 30-06. The gas block on the barrel has been soldered back on. The gun is ejecting shells but not reloading. I couldn't get the set pin out of the gas block (probably fused during the soldering) to clean the gas port. So I just order a used barrel. Thanks for the video.

I cannot get the little pin out of the charging handle. Any ideas? Bent multiple punches trying to get it out but it’s not budging

@@Pookytootinalil Make sure you are using a proper roll pin punch, not a tapered punch. Also make sure you are punching from the top downward, it will only punch out that way. If its never been out before and its siezed in, it can be extremely carefully drilled out and replaced with a new pin, but if you're not comfortable with doing so i would not attempt. Ive had some stubborn pins in the past, once you bend a punch on those small diameter guys that punch will be difficult to apply full hammer pressure straight downward and will most likely keep bending the punch. I would block the gun up in a vice, get a brand new roll pin punch or flat face punch and give it one real heavy whack to break it loose. Also, dont be afraid to try and get a drop of solvent to sit in the area over night.
